my problem is that the game always does a fatal error crash after 30min - 1h and i dont understand why. i followed the pinned troubles section and reinstallled the game, updated everything i can update (windows, drivers,...)

if it's missing some updates, I extremely recommend you to update it

Troodon pounce on HT is fully bugged. Each pounce I got stuck on the prey. Besides that, the ping keeps me on the ground when I jump. I tried to play Troodon for like 14 times in a row the last hours and it only dies bc of these issues.

With connection being as finnicky as it is right now (as I believe they're gathering server data), Troodon especially will be affected by this. I've been playing Troodon a lot this past couple days and so I feel you.

A friend of mine that got the game can play the isle on his steam account but not on my account on the same device. I can not get past the server select screen. this is a guide i followed to fixing it when i encountered it,

1. Fully close Steam (important)

Steam sometimes doesn’t restart cleanly.

Exit Steam

Open Task Manager

End all Steam-related processes (Steam.exe, Steam Client Service, etc.)

Restart Steam as Administrator

Right-click Steam → Run as administrator

Then launch The Isle (Evrima) again.

2. Verify game files

Corrupted files are the most common cause.

Steam → Library

Right-click The Isle

Properties → Installed Files

Click Verify integrity of game files

Wait for it to finish, then try launching again

3. Make sure you’re launching through Steam

Do not launch Evrima directly from:

the .exe

desktop shortcuts

old taskbar pins

Always launch it from Steam → Library → Play
(Evrima needs Steam running to authenticate)

4. Check antivirus / firewall

Security software often blocks Steam’s subsystem.

Temporarily disable antivirus and test

Or add exceptions for:

I don't see any reports in your message history actually. We did have a report button over on HT, but to make a report, you should be doing so over in the discord. The region chats such as #evrima-na and etc do outline how to do so in the pins: You tag the admin role with your in game name, the server, and the suspected cheats.

Reporting in the discord as we outline alerts all admins at once and lets us know immedietely there is an issue for us to handle.

hi! I bought a new PC few months ago and at first it could easily run at around 80-100 fps in normal locations on high settings without DLSS on

then I started playing with DLSS (on quality) on medium settings with 70 resolution for a while. Today, out of interest, I decided to disable DLSS again, and my fps dropped to like 30-40, also the game became very blurry? Even increasing the resolution on 100 doesn't help. wtf?

I'm sure that everything was fine for the first few days after I got PC and I had a cool render with cool fps.

I checked on HT and Evrima (it's even worse on Evrima). I also checked the files in steam and reinstalled GPU driver, reinstalled the game but that didn't change anything

Im unsure if something is bugged with ptera or is more than what I did, I tried to make a prime ptera again, this most recent one was 4 PZ, 2 MZ, no canni/spasms, no infertile, perfect diet for most my life, sanc as a juv and i migrated around the map. I did everything I could before I hit fg. If its more than 4 PZ's its ROUGH and 2 MZ is all I could do since they dont respawn quick enough before 75%.

I also tried the one spot in the youtube vid that was suggested. nada, mulitple servers too incase it was a server bug. ive tried US and EU servers. nothing, still no prime. I got prime my first try by accident (2 mz 1 pz before the update for glitched primes past 75%) and not a single one since that update

I can't say that it works.. Or it works and I'm just blind.. But the game is still a bit blurry with 100 resolution I think. I also tried put resolution on 100 + dlss on quality, then dlaa but it's still blurry

I've noticed that when I join the game the resolution is wrongly stuck at the 100, and I get less fps

then I click apply and it goes to 50 as it was previously set

Slight update to what I posted earlier about the possible prime bug for Ptera, I'm currently playing omni, hit all my goals and didnt get prime.. so I cehcked just now, and clicked on the 4th mut slot. BAM I was prime and the mut icon never showed up. Make sure to check if you are prime by clicking you prime Mut slot if you don't have the symbol pop up
