Hello, I need help because I'm trapped in a human structure. The unstuck command doesn't work for me, because I can move. The problem is that I'm stuck in a space that I can't get out of because my dinosaur is too big to go down the stairs where I am. I'm a ceratosaurus and I'm on the EU 4 server.

i made an optimization guide where i tested all graphics settings to see which ones gives more performance and such

but in your case, theres not much you can squeeze out of it without a dedicated gpu

30fps is what people with those usually get, unless they have the 8th gen AMD cpus, which came with new graphics, pretty strong if you ask me

Im having trouble with Evrima crashing. I can get into the main menu and stuff but as soon as i get into a server and try to chose my dino i crash and it says "Fatal Error!". This only happens for the Evirma version of the game as Legacy I can play all day no issues. I've tired various things from verifying game files to upgrading my GPU and nothing. All my other games run fine like Fortnite, Marvel Rivals etc. If anyone could help that would be great!

This may help... Delete the games Config folder to reset all settings, do this with every version change as the game engine often gets updated

Here is a step by step guide:

If running The Isle, exit the game.,
Press the Windows key,
Type %localappdata% then press Enter.,
Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.,
Open the "Saved" folder.,
Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.,
Restart the game.

yeah, pigs take a while to respect you. With cera you have a easier time killing them very early on. But rex is not agile or strong enough until 350-500kg to deal with pigs. And even then they like to 360° so scope you 😮

All I can say is that you opt into this thing voluntarily on steam. It has testing in the name. It isn't the "live" iteration of Evrima. We all play it because we get to try the new dinos sooner.

Tbh I just had a whale of a time escaping the nursery after my trex went over the baby threshold, got dehydrated, then when I tried to take a drink from the lake some big footsteps came rushing up behind me. Dodged him between the trees (I'm getting good at that). Ran for two miles, dying because of dehydration, somehow made it to the next water source (Did you know there's a massive sand filled arena on the South coast? O_o)

That's the game for me 😄 I'd love to 100% a trex but then I'd just be stomping around probably starving because my stamina management sucks.

I can completely understand how much that sucked. I've been sad enough to cry over any number of adult dinosaurs I've lost. My partner once banned me from playing the isle because I got too emotionally invested in these damn dinosaurs that I'd spend a weekend growing and then lose, usually to something stupid like falling into water when my stamina was low. The worst was the Deinos, getting ambushed by two others and being like "What was the point?" You could have lost that prime at any point. Just this time it was a server wipe..

But Hordetesting has always been, and will always be, where you try out new dinos for the novelty and to find bugs. They literally have to reset the servers when there's an update or to try fixes. It's behind a beta option in steam. I guess I've never thought that much about how my dinos would disappear sometimes. This game in its entirety is still in development. And the mechanics of this game involve a lot of death anyway. You REALLY can't get precious about a dino even if you have spent hours growing it.

Be happy knowing that you got a dino all the way to adult, and now elder. Because it means you can do it again 😛

speed of your connection isn't always the full picture, I have had issues with my ISP plan I was using which capped the number of connections to other devices in the house (like TV's, Phones, Laptops), once capped it would "time share" the connection causing obvious issues with games (for me changing plans fixed it)

Hordetest is for testing purposes only, not for actual constant playing. It will have bugs. Switch to Evrima if you want to avoid most bugs

Every time I open Isle Evrima

So I just joined the hordtest, selected a Server to join and now im locked in the creature select screen, unable to input anything.
Can't click anything, got no mouse, and non of my keys except the windows key are doing anything.
The game did not crash tho, the globe is still spinning, sound is still there and fps is stable.

So I've been having an issue since last night. The 1 key and window key. All my other key controls work fine. I've reset the settings. I've closed the game out entirely and logged back in. The 1 key will do 1 call, until I hit the window key and then the 1 key no longer iniates the 1 call.

I go to settings, fix it, and it goes back to 1 call / 1 key until I hit the window key again, and then it's broken again.

I do not have any idea what started it, it started last night.

that means you take too long to load it and the server just kicks you

The important part is putting it on windows full screen 1st then when u go to pick a Dino press the windows button on the keyboard. Windows screen will pop up like mine. Don’t close it just move the cursor to developer mode and press it . It should work after

Oh yeah, sorry, I don't know English very well! I've tried so many things already, including this: reinstalling the game, verifying files, installing it on a different drive, playing on low or high settings, screen modes, rebooting the router, playing with or without a VPN. I tried clearing the graphics card shader cache and updating the drivers.

I've been having this problem for three days now. Once, manually deleting the game completely, restarting the computer, and downloading it again helped. But the next morning, everything broke again! Regular Evrima works! Only hordetesting doesn't work.

I found a possible fix for anyone getting fatal error crashes or their system freezing while trying to play the game. I just clean installed my gpu drivers and updated my bios, I just made sure to re-enable the settings I had in the bios before the update cause they get wiped after doing so

yelo. I was wondering if there was any fix to not get kicked from a serv when drifting around with dibble. Doesn't happen frequently but when it does, you're as good as dead. Here a clip of the issue. Just to clarify I was trying to crash so I could get a clip for this post, but it also happens in real fight scenario.(After the freeze I got kicked out and brought back to main menu with a different error number every time saying lost connection to the server.(also this clip was from a deathmatch but it happened to me on a lot of different unofficial/official server)).
