I get that error very easily, but for me simply closing everything works fine... The game hates when I use my MSI afterburner or have a little background game

I don't have many ideas other than suggesting a clean reinstall (deleting the folder from %localappdata%), or reinstalling the easy anti cheat, or even reinstalling steam

ask him to run memtest to test his RAM and make sure it isn't faulty. Also use gpu benchmark/prime95 to test the gpu and make sure it isn't failing either. Both are free programs to stress test a computer

If you are GPU bound then enabling it is better for performance. Depending on your screen resolution you will notice an quality impact though, especially on lower resolutions like 1080p.

What you can try doing that may help is adjusting the value of your server browser ping through Steam. Open Steam > Click Steam top left > Settings > In-Game > Scroll down to Server browser pings/minute. Mine is currently at 3000 but adjust it to different values if one doesn't work.

I did reinstall and updated graphics. I'll check temps but dont believe it is over heating, it's the middle of winter. Reinstalling and updating drivers did make it last longer. But still got that dreaded fatal error pop-up.

I spawned under the map as a fresh spawn almost dead after using the spawn code to get to a friend. The /unstuck command doesn't work for me and my dino is not losing food its stuck at 48% and my water is stuck at 90% so I can't starve or dehydrate to death. When I log out it says I have no dino on the screen when i select the server and then when I log back into the server and it's the same stuck under the map thing I just can't use AU1 altogether. It has been like this for a few days now.... Does anyone know how to fix this?

your initial problem would've been solved by deleting the untrusted file named dxgi (reshade)

but now we are in a whole new situation...

to install anticheat again you need to open the game folder and double click installanticheat

Put 3D resolution to 100, that should make it look better. Anything below 100 is upscaling which impact image quality. When you use dlss it control the 3d resolution for you for its upscaling.

DLSS Quality equals to 100% resolution scaling because it basically looks like native.

If you have a low resolution monitor don't use the resolution scaler, else it will look like crap, just let it on 100%

I was able to play the game completely fine yesterday, now everytime I try and play The Isle today this happens, Similar crashes to just opening the game, It'll run for about 1-2 minutes before giving me a fatal error. All my stuff is updated, I've reinstalled the game, deleted the config, the whole shabang. Not sure what else could be causing such a annoying error. I have a decent enough rig to run the game and il leave my specs:
My Specs:
GPU: GeForce RTX 3090
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core
MEMORY: 64 GBs
I keep the game downloaded on SSD, I have tried moving it to see if that would potentially fix the issues I was having, this effort was fruitless, the end result is still the same. Crashing with a "Fatal Error!"

Also something to note: The ingame models would appear to bug out before crashing, not sure why.

They would be "elongated" or "stretchy". Kinda hard to explain.
