the servers restart a few times a day. Near 6pm. 10am. 12am and like 1 or 2 am

(the times may be wrong im not entirely sure) but it takes a bit till they come back, 5 to 10 minutes. Waiting is usually the only thing you can and need to do

otherwise reinstall the game, or delete the files. If that doesnt work a try reinstalling anti easy cheat or steam entirely. That doesnt work reset the pc, more i dont know myself

Connection timed out means it took too long for your PC to connect to the server so it stopped trying
Might need to go to #server-hosting and see if anyone knows if there's any solutions. Your server might not be 100% up or something

I hope you suceed but i do warn they probably wont be of much help. I have been having a bug that over 50 poeple have and more, reported even. "Some guy or girl" wont make a difference. Not saying you aint important.

The game is a beta game- well not a full game so usually changes like these rarely get fixed or properly adressed. Atleast a few buggs they patched up since last time. Do try to accept you wont be able to play the game for A WHILE. Do try legacy or the test versions maybe that helps?

The isle is a huge bug and issue game, if you got a problem it usually doesnt get fixed so yeah...game is unplayable even for me. Most should be aware that if you got an issue you usually cant get the game to work again and cant play anymore.

My game keeps crashing while launching and every single solution (included in the pinned or otherwise) doesn't seem to work.

So far I've tried :

• Uninstalling the game
• Deleting the Saved and Config files
• Verifying the files integrity

The games crashes when this screen appears and without any error associated with it.
I'm also sure it isn't due to an hardware issue.

** The freezing is caused by your third app antivirus **
such as Avast, Norton, AVG, Mcafee, etc

you can add exclusions to your antivirus, so it ignores the isle

• go to the isle folder (where its installed in steam), add "theisle" app
• then enter the folder theisle > binaries > win64 > add "theisleclient" app as well

if it still doesnt work, you can simply just uninstall your antivirus, you may need to use the uninstaller tools they provide!
such as "norton uninstaller" or "avg uninstaller" (for example). Antiviruses are sticky.

I went in and deleted all my files for the game, then uninstalled. After I reinstalled the game I was able to see good pings for the servers. I didn’t try to connect to them because I had to go do stuff but I’ll try today and see if it worked.

The game starts normally, server selection is as usual, queue is completely normal, and when it's my turn, it just says "Connecting" and I can wait as long as I want, but I just can't get onto the official server. Since yesterday, I've gotten the error message "the game failed to properly connect to setup the steam online subsystem".

Running on Win 10, Evrima branch.

To fix this, I have tried the following:

Uninstalling and reinstalling The Isle.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Steam.
Going to command prompt for netsh winsock reset.
Allowed the game's EXE through my firewall separately.
Uncountable amount of turning pc off and on again.
Clearing Steam download cache.
Verifying integrity of the game's files.
Deleted config file from %appdata%
Made exception via Windows defender to The Isle folder
Checking Windows updates and even updating gpu drivers although the latter shouldn't have anything to do with this.
Pretty much everything short of witchcraft and shamanism.

If anyone could help fix this issue, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You have done a lot so far, just a couple things I can suggest, Delete the games Config folder to reset everything, also look to your Anti Virus particularly if it's third party, put an exception into it for the game, make sure to include the whole "The Isle" folder

If by config folder you mean the one from %appdata%, i did delete it, forgot to mention. I also only run windows defender and have made an exception of The Isle folder there. Will be adding these to original comment.

That's a modest jump in hardware mostly, try deleting the games Config folder to reset all settings, turning off Lumen helps once done, and importantly UPDATE the new Graphics Card Driver as well as windows

anyways, this infinite connecting screen it's a bug that has been happening for some time and it's affecting about 50 people (or more)

we didn't found a fix for it but it's useful if you can try some basic troubleshooting
