sadly I don't know how to fix the fatal error yet, it's one of those errors that has a thousand roots

can try a few things though, like a clean reinstall by deleting the files from %localappdata%, or verify files, or restart PC, or reinstall steam, or update all drivers (GPU, windows, etc)

Oh hey I watched your video on it lol, But its strange because in your video when you call the clone seconds later the target always takes damage and does the damage animation and sound, however i was fighting ceras the other day and i had a huge pack of dilos and whenever we called clones the ceras didn't make any damage sounds or animations and to my knowledge no damage either

Hello everyone. I had a problem a few days ago. In evrima, I have 0 ping on each server. When trying to connect, it writes "data acquisition failed". Only occasionally can I connect to any server, but when I log back in, the problem repeats itself. I've already tried thousands of different ways, from reinstalling the game to reinstalling Steam, including the firewall and working with the router. Hello, The Isle evrima has stopped finding servers. When I log into the game and press play, it loads the servers endlessly, and it says on top that there are 0 of them, but the network status is online. When I exit the menu, a window pops up with an error connecting to steam servers or something like that and asks me to restart the computer, but the problem does not disappear after that. This problem appeared on 03/31/2025 and I do not know what to do. I allowed the game access to all networks and tried to delete the saved folder according to the advice from the Internet. I also tried to turn on steam as an administrator, but nothing helps. I do not know what to do.. Can you please help me solve this problem?

This is caused by your third app antivirus (Norton, avast, avg, etc)

you can:

• uninstall your antivirus completely
  or
• disable it before launching the game (might not work)
  or
• create an exception in your antivirus for the entire isle folder

sometimes it requires you to reboot the pc or download the game again, as the files can be already blocked.

Many systems will have a chip with integrated graphics, AND a dedicated gpu, both should show up under display adapter

Oh it's not the key itself, don't worry about your keyboard lol. It's just a weird quirk a lot of Unreal Engine games have, tapping alt a few times after getting back into the game should prevent it

Next time that happens to you, close your browser, go back into the game, fix your resolution and try typing again, should be fine. That fixes it for me. Then i reopen the browser/map and things are back to normal. Just see if that helps you too.

Not really, though if you aren't in the swamp (there's a black box that always renders in when underwater in the swamp) you can edge your camera angle to let you see under the water without having any of the underwater vfx obscuring your vision. Useful for figuring out which direction Elite fish are, or keeping an eye out for Cannibals.

I second on the AMD cards, specially on budget. With a RX 6750 XT @ 1080p , all settings on epic (except 3d resolution) I get consistent 65-80 FPS. I like to play on high instead which get 90-120, and I don't notice much difference honestly.

Ok, 2 things that have worked for me in the past. 1. Try going to into the game folder, delete the anti cheat folder, the entire folder. Then run "verify intergrity" of the game files. It will redownload the anti cheat folder. Run the "install anti cheat" script again.

2. Find EAC running in Services. Go to properties, set it to launch automatically, hit apply. Then, go back and set it back to manual ....then try running the game again.

oh and 3. Tell your friend to stop cheating XD. I jest.

Having issues with choppy/laggy sound? Not happening as much as it did before the recent update could it be config files?

Deleting the config can help with a lot of issues, also update any audio drivers, and try limiting your FPS below what you normally can obtain to give your PC more overhead for sounds (if you normally sit at 80fps, set the cap to 60fps)

May have found a fix. If u have evrima and legacy installed, swap to evrima in betas even if it normally launches without this enabled. Not sure why this has changed today, but this worked

This is caused by your third app antivirus (Norton, avast, avg, etc)

you can:

• uninstall your antivirus completely
  or
• disable it before launching the game (might not work)
  or
• create an exception in your antivirus for the entire isle folder

sometimes it requires you to reboot the pc or download the game again, as the files can be already blocked.

Here is a step by step guide:

If running The Isle, exit the game.
Press the Windows key
Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
Open the "Saved" folder.
Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.
