Yeah, sadly Evrima isn't particularly well optimised and it struggles a bit on things that aren't good gaming desktop PCs, but I can't think of anything else to try with your issue. I know CPU bottlenecks will always cause sound glitches but from what you've said that shouldn't be happening; If I was in your shoes I'd use a tool to keep an eye on your CPU speed while playing the game (Task Manager on a second screen or MSI Afterburner or something) just to make sure it wasn't getting declocked for some reason.
Oh, that's a thought. Have you made sure Windows isn't on a power saving plan of some sort?

It is also possible that Windows Defender or Malware Bytes is contributing, you could try temporarily disabling their on-access scan to see if that helps

One more thing to try if you haven't already, a lot of weird game issues can be fixed by deleting the config folder
With Evrima closed, on your keyboard press the Windows key and R, put %localappdata% and hit enter, scroll down and double click TheIsle, then Saved, then delete Config. Note this will also delete all your settings.

In Settings -> Sound in game I'd also turn Music down to 0 if you haven't already

It might not happen, they already pushed out the deadline a year, they are trying to bully people into doing it I think. Even when it happens you aren't absolutely required to change, sort of depends how risky your online behaviour is (and how risk adverse you are too, I suppose). Still lots of Windows 7 users out there after all

My internet had crashed booting me from the servers, and when trying to re-log and go through the queue, it takes forever to 'connect' and ends up booting me with a time-out error. Last time this happened, my dino was erased and it took over 24 hours before I could get back into the server.

As per the error message, your CPU itself might not be stable. 13700k was one of the CPU models affected by the Intel oxidation failure issue.
As a starting point, could you please download OCCT and do a CPU + RAM Stability test? Prime95 is an Open-Source option if you prefer, but it isn't as user-friendly.

Hello, sorry to be the next one with a problem, but it's burning the nails so to speak.
I got the game yesterday, installed it and it doesn't start properly.
First it was because of the missing EasyAntiCheat, after fixed the game started once for a getting-to-know session but when I tried to start today, the game keeps freezing on the loading screen with the letters, I waited a good while with nothing happening and then had to close the game via steam. I verified the game files several times and also reinstalled the game just now, all with the same result.

I found a funny issue and a fix last night running the game. I just built my girl a rig with the new Arc B580 intel gpu and the Isle HATES this card we loaded up got to the settings and i turned lumen on turned everything on medium except for view distance at epic. FATAL ERROR occurs then the game keeps doing this everytime i launch it. FATAL ERROR restart FATAL ERROR. Went into the game files and deleted DLSS.dll and now it runs just fine.

I switched to Evrima, but the game freezes about a second into the "AE" logo at start. I couldn't close the window, and even the Task Manager crashes when I tried to open it, so I had to restart my PC.

we had this issue last night and i deleted the dlss plugin because its an intel card and that seemed to fix it for a bit but then we loaded into CA 2 and the game crashed with the fatal error msg and now its just doing it right at the beginning of the start screen animation

After playing for about 30 minutes my frames suddenly drop from around 150 to 60 and whenever i turn my frames drop to almost zero making the game unplayable. I have tried all different types of setting. Making sure my graphics drivers and computer are up to date. I have verified game files as well as redownloading the game. That's a very strange issue, I have a regular 4070 and don't experience this.
Maybe try clearing your config folder and make sure you don't have downloads or other things running in the BG
Also, put all your settings on high and press apply when you join the server. Your card can handle it easy you're doing yourself a disservice putting it on low/medium

My 4070 gets 60fps with no DLSS, 144+ on ultraperformance

I've seen a few people with this issue and the only solution they have is, believe it or not, to buy another copy of the game on another account. There's a few network things we can work through if you like, though (disable firewall, disable IPv6, change DNS, try a VPN). @fiery scarab in case you didn't know

It's not an uncommon error, by any means. Nobody is accusing you of using cheats, don't worry :). The error you are having is with Easy AntiCheat (EAC), which isn't used on Legacy, hence why that works

That issue is typically caused by interference from your Anti-Virus. Either uninstall Norton/Avast/AVG/McAfee/Kaspersky and let Windows Defender take over or add the entire The Isle folder in Steam as an exception. You will likely need to restart and Verify Integrity of Files on Evrima afterwards. Just disabling the AV is usually not sufficient.

EAC can also take issue with AC from other games (like the Tencent one, ACE)

did not work sadly . weather you need to send them in here or in my dm's are you able to list more common apps and files that might be triggering the anti cheat . I am not comfortable sharing any personal information from my pc but i am willing to follow steps etc . i hope you can understand and still be able to assit 🙂

whatever problem I'm having with the game immediatly freezing has got to be an issue with anticheat. Ive tried both betas. evirma and spiro and both launch then immediatly freeze.

I completely understand, but I don't have a list, sorry; My approach would be to research anything which doesn't come with windows or isn't known safe, and I can tell you how to do that if it comes to it, it's not as hard as it might first seem.
One likely option would be if you are using a non-standard AntiVirus or anti-malware application - do you use anything like that?

Freezing during load (typically on the AE or Unreal screen) is typically caused by interference from your Anti-Virus. Either uninstall Norton/Avast/AVG/McAfee/Kaspersky and let Windows Defender take over or add the entire The Isle folder in Steam as an exception. You will likely need to restart and Verify Integrity of Files on Evrima afterwards. Just disabling the AV is usually not sufficient.
If you use Norton specifically, some people have reported that adding the folder as an exception is also not enough, one user wrote up a guide which may be helpful #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message

If you don't use anything like this we can try some more general steps:
In Steam, right-click The Isle, Manage, Browse local files, double-click UninstallAntiCheat then double-click InstallAntiCheat. Note no confirmation message will be given.
In the same folder, please right-click TheIsle and click Run as Administrator

Does anyone know how to fix the issue where the isle evrima loads but I get stuck in the loading screen after the game has loaded for about 1 second?

I can choose to play "the isle" and "the isle: evrima" before launing the game and no matter what I press I get stuck in the loading screen. deleting "OpenXR" doesnt work because that folder doesnt even exist on my game files in the first place. I have tried uninstalling, restarting my PC and nothing works.

It didnt work, the settings on AVG are apparently totally different so I tried to disable the antivirus temporarily to launch the isle but that didnt work either

its weird cause legacy worked when I tried to launch it but evrima doesnt

My Beipi has been stuck at 0% growth and being infertile forever. He has no listed preferred foods, they disappeared. Eating any of his foods that should be preffered do not give him any nutruents.
