What you see on the connect screen is a local snapshot, what you get when you connect is what is saved on the server. They can be different for a few reasons:

1. You didn't safelog after last playing, and were killed before your dino finished logging out (about 5min after you quit)
2. The server suffered a rollback (went back to a previous save state)

For it to be on all servers, it would have to be anti-cheat based - getting banned from a community server wouldn't apply to official and vice-a-versa. It's far more likely to be a networking issue

Yeah, I've been having this issue as well. Legacy was working just fine until i tried downloading Evirma. It would try to download, get to 100% and then tell me that it cannot resume because of missing file privileges. Ill check to see if Legacy is able to download, last time i checked it was able to.

A Disk Write Error is an error with Steam, not with The Isle, and means Stream is having problems writing to the game folder. This could be because if:

1. Interference from your Anti-Virus software
2. Write permissions from Windows
3. Hard drive failure
4. Something else

You can try things like moving the game to another drive, or another steam library folder, this has helped some others with similar problems. I'd also check your Anti-Virus software's logs for actions being taken against game files

There are a bunch of ways to test your memory, which is still the most likely issue, a tool like OCCT is the easiest and quickest way https://www.ocbase.com/download but a ye Olde memtest https://www.memtest.org is also an option (you need 12+ passes run overnight to be sure tho)

Just a note for this pin: Running EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup by itself will never do anything, and it's what the InstallAntiCheat batch file runs anyway (with the correct parameters)

Your RAM is almost certainly covered by a warranty (probably lifetime), you can narrow it down to the exact stick and get it sorted

Usually the process of deduction goes like this:

1. Find a test that reliably shows the issue (e.g. OCCT).
2. Remove all but one stick, repeat test
3. Swap a ram stick into the same slot, repeat test. If it fails on one stick and not others, congrats, you found it.
4. If it fails on all sticks, try a different slot. See if it's the slot that's bad.
5. If it works on all sticks individually, and all slots individually, but fails with multiple sticks, try with Channel Interleaving disabled. If this works, it means the sticks (or possibly, slots) are poorly matched

If you have 32GB+ you can try running the game on one stick (or half the sticks) and narrow it down that way, too. Evrima really needs 16GB to be happy so if you only have 2x8GB sticks that's not really an option

Generally avoid picking things up with G unless you absolutely have to. It's always been buggy

You should be able to eat it with E, don't rely on where it looks like it is, smell and follow your nose to it

It's a bug, you get things stuck in your mouth and the only way to fix it is relog (or sometimes, if you are lucky, waiting a while)

If you wait it might float to the surface and let you eat, but if you are impacted by the bug everyone else will see you as having food in your face, which they can smell, which will give you away

I've been experiencing this constant issue with the game.. I'm unsure if it's software or hardware based but after being on for around 3-4hrs, moving my mouse in any way shape or form drops my frames from the usual 100-120 to 10, causing major stuttering and input lag. (it also does this in other games I've noticed.. which leads me to believe hardware possibly but I'm unsure) I have noticed a high cached ram value however the usage from the game is within a normal range. Nothing else is maxing out, temps are normal, etc. Has anyone encountered an issue like this? I've tried everything and hate having to go through queue for an hour just to relog.
