maybe you are still missing a file, so i would recommend a clean reinstall, by deleting the folder in %localappdata% and in steam as well

How to do a clean uninstall

• windows + r

• find The Isle folder and DELETE it
  then
• Right click the game on steam
• properties > local files > browse
• DELETE The Isle folder
• try to reinstall the game

Then you can try to wait it out. I think busy areas tend to desync you from the server which can also cause that no diet issue, so waiting in a quiet area might help.

Im having trouble not really with the game itself but Battleye/EasyAntiCheat. The game launches itself 1 out 15 times more or less, the other 14 times, it just gives me a BSOD when the first Isle window appears, or soon after.
I've tried a few things before you ask : updating drivers, running the game as an admin, deleting a few files and verifying steam files, ...
Does anyone know how to reliably fix that BSOD thing ?

i can't open evrima because of that error message. all of my drivers, windows, etc. are up to date. i've restarted my pc, reinstalled the game, and enabled direct play in windows features. nothing is working and i haven't gotten a response from the contact us email on their website for about a week and a half. anyone have any solutions?

Is there a reason that every time I try to rejoin a server, even after safelogging, it'll say my dinos there then when I try to log in it'll be deleted? It's random to. Sometimes it'll save my dino for weeks and others it'll just be a day offline and I'll come back to all my progress being nuked. It's almost always on dinos that have longer grow times to regardless of where I'm at in the growing process

you may need to add an exception for the isle game folder and the isle game .exe to your antivirus exceptions list and possibly remove any blocked isle game files from your antivirus quarantine/virus vault ...

I completely get that but I was able to play for a very very long time before the most recent update and I am now getting this message as well so I don't think its my cpu at all since I can play any and every other game reguardless of the engine being used flawlessly without a single hiccup but as soon as I launch the Isle it completely breaks down and just keeps popping out the exact same error and it seems since this has been going on for a while there isn't a single fix for it.

Definitely Improved the fps by about 10 on average but the image seems slightly..blurrier? Ill keep it for a while and see how I feel. Ill also check out my water issues with these settings and see if they helped anything @neon geode

If you are experiencing issues with your controls (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

So I keep getting the error 413 for my cpu, Your telling me its not the game itself or the engine being a problem but my cpu right? I have never had this problem before and played a good 17 hours straight before when first picking up the game a good bit back but once I come back and haven't touched the game since then I now keep getting this error and my cpu is the problem? I have over 200 games on steam alone along with other games on xbox gamepass and other launchers and not a single one has this issue so I think its better to admit that its not just the cpu, It's probably the game itself. I don't know what else to say since my entire time all I got was the exact same thing told to reset my game/empty your folders basically and reinstall and all of that did absolutely nothing to help fix the issue. This is mainly a rant because I have been trying to fix this for days and instead of fixing it just seems we are going in circles and no one really seems to know how to fix it. I'd rather you say we dont know then tell me something that you know wont fix it.

It's also only the Evrima Branch that is having this problem, I have loaded up all the other ones at least of my knowledge and haven't had a single problem so please look into this bug I literally cannot play at all and I can't even refund the damn game so its quite literally money and my own time wasted.

This is a bit of an odd one, but I'm having this issue where when I load into the game, my screen flashes from normal to this. It was hard to get a screenshot because it does it very rapidly and honestly it's nauseating- It's been doing this for a bit now except it hasn't become a problem until recently. Usually restarting my Isle fixed the issue, but now it's doing it more frequently and frankly with the long queue times it's frustrating to need to restart.

I don't know if it's a problem with my monitor, I've had my monitor for around two years now and it has never done this until a couple weeks ago and it's only with this game. I've tried messing with my resolution and there doesn't seem to be a permanent solution.
Any ideas for what could be causing this?

check what graphic card you are using. You can check that, by opening your device manager, click on the arrow next to "display adaptors" then it should tell you what you got

depending what you got, you can google for downloading a driver or search on your pc if you already own it and need to update it

for me it was pretty easy, since i use nvdia geforce and could just download the driver first page on google
im not an expert tho, but if you have trouble finding what im talking about i can try to help :)

are the best options to maintain the game pretty and stable, make sure to click apply 2x when you notice your fps "jumping" from time to time

I bought the game today, downloaded the legacy and then switched over to the evrima branch. When trying to connect to any unnoficial server I get the following timeout error. I even tried hosting my own server in G-Portal and same issue. My connection is fine and in my firewall this PC is set to allow any in and out, game is also added to the PC's firewall exception list. Anyone knows what's wrong?

Neoq, most people can't play this game with even 60% 3d resolution, there's no way someone with a mobile 3050 can do that with 80%

plus, lumen only has on and off, and since the engine already have a lumen implemented there's no need for him to keep it on, as it eats fps

reducing the 3d resolution to 46 or 47 keeps the same image but adds about +10fps into the count, which is a little secret I've been spreading all over

shadows at low are... terrible for the eyes.
