this isnt really an isle issue but it is happening to the isle (and another one of my games) so im kinda hoping someone has ideas on how to fix this

ive had the isle installed for ages i tried switching back to evrima and loaded the game, it loaded and took me to the server list but wouldnt let me join any i figured i'd try reload the game to see if that fixed it but when i tried reloading the game it came up with this launch error so i tried verifying files and it said one was missing and that it would reinstall it. it tried reinstalling the file but couldnt complete it and instead comes up with a "disk write error" ive been looking into how to fix it like unchecking a "read only" box on the file explorer steam folder, doing that let me load the game again but it force closed before getting to the server list i found out that i apparently have to run the steam file as administrator or give it full access but i dont even have any option to do that when i right click it so im honestly just confused and have no idea how to fix my games i even tried reinstalling isle on a external hard drive but that didnt fix the issue either

i dont think its anything to do with antivirus because i only use AVG antivirus and i dont even open it or anything it probably runs in the background a lot of the time but its never blocked any games or anything before and no setting have been changed

AVG has a tendency to block a lot of things, and tbh windows defender is more than enough

Press Windows+R, type in this text. When a window pops up, look in the TheIsle folder, then look in Saved. You'll see a config folder. You can just delete that entire thing. It will reset all of your controls and settings but this sometimes helps with performance or crashes.

That may be due to your Render Scale setting. At 100% the game should look as clear as possible for your current resolution. At lower percents it will run better but starts looking fuzzy

Potential fix found. I'm not sure how well it works for everything but I went from logging into 0 servers to a handful of them. Seems some regions are just down. What I did was -Verify files, restart steam, update steam, restart steam.

Hi there i have some new problems with my recording in evrima.
I use the Nvidia Shadowplay (ALT+F9) and it worked fine the last months. But since yesterday, it is stopping the recording in the second i open the game and if i am already in the game, it just says: "Recording started", then 1 second later: "Recording Saved". Other games work fine, i just have the problem with The Isle Evrima. Anyone knows how to fix it?
(I was able to record 2 videos yesterday, then after a 1-2 break i played again and it stopped working. I checked the Nvidia settings, but nothing has changed also i do have enough space (GB) for the videos, so thats not the problem.)

Yeah those ones are broken right now, all the servers in general will be broken for now due to the fact they switched entirely who supports their servers being hosted (I think)
So expect it to be weird for about a week or so until the devs can find solutions and until the servers calm themselves down

If anyone else is getting the "Game Configuration Unavailable" error on steam I was able to fix it by closing down steam, going into my \Steam\appcache folder and deleting the appinfo.vdf file and re-starting steam.

after joining the queue ,without leaving the game, they are usually removed from it after about 10 minutes spent in it and usually when does not change his position with e.g. 13-12 people in the queue

so there's still the fatal error glitch and there's a glitch with the eggs when you are an egg, you cannot see yourself hatch no matter how much you zoom out, not only that but you can't see but 2 inches in front of you because your screen is clouded and you can't see your character chart by hitting tab or the escape then character.

I usually do that, but then any of your saved skin presets will be wiped. It's possible to back them up but I can't remember the exact file they're saved in
