I had this directx 12 error too when I had an different windows version and deactivated all updates. I had one that said it supports DX12 but it didnt somehow.

After downloading a new windows version and activating all windows updates my problem was fixed. Seems like ur Windows version does not run DX12

Game crashes, I try to get back into the server, it gives me this, Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (0x2200). Then the 2nd attempt will let me in. It’s almost unplayable at this point. Sometimes it happens 2,3 even 4 times an hour. I thought I found some potential fixes but nothing has helped. I uninstalled legacy snow map. I uninstalled the game and did a fresh install. I verified my game files. My windows is up to date. I lowered my graphic settings. I disabled Global Illumination and mechanical ray tracing. NOTHING has helped. I'm at a loss. I see other fatal errors people are having but nothing with this Anti cheat message. Could this be a firewall or anti virus software issue? Any help at all would be soooo appreciated.

I'm having serious issues with audio stuttering in the Isle Evrima, if anyone could suggest fixes, I'd be very grateful. LMK if you need more info or my specs, I have a somewhat high-end PC. All other games on Steam seem to play audio just fine, but Evrima specifically seems to crackle, pop and 'reset' in distorted audio loops that end up sounding like white noise.

• Open task manager > Performance
• Copy CPU name
• Copy RAM amount
• Copy GPU name (if theres two, copy both)

• Check if your GPU drivers are updated! Use Geforce Experience for Nvidia GPUS and AMD Adrenalin for AMD GPUS
• Check if your Windows is updated
• After updating everything, restart your pc to apply correctly the changes
• Try to play the game

Doesn't work?

• Try to download the GPU drivers from the official website (just search AMD drivers/Nvidia Drivers) and fill what it asks
• Still doesn't work? Check if your GPU is capable of running DX12_1 (or @ me)

There you will see a file called InstallAntiCheat. Click on it.
Nothing will visibly happen: that is normal.

win+r type in "sysdm.cpl", in the window(s) that pops up click: advanced, settings, advanced, changed, uncheck automatics manage paging file size for all drives, disable paging for the slowest drive(in this case the C drive. you can check that by seeing which one is a HDD and which is a SSD, HDDs are slower), set custom size and type in 8192 as both max and minium size then click set, then make sure you hit ok, apply or save on every window before closing them

I tried everything I could find online, with no success. Windows and gpu drivers up to date, uninstall/reinstall, deleted everything in the appdata folder, switched to legacy and back to evrima. Nothing has helped. Last night I followed the steps posted in announcements the other day, I was actually able to play for a hour before I got a fatal error. I gave up after that crash.

Tried again today. Following the steps in the document in this channel, i did the manual uninstall. Since doing that, I have crashed several times, after about a hour of play.

i was having that issue when i switched recently back from public branch to horde test ... after 10 mins or so my fps would go from 60fps vsync down to redline 5 - 10 fps and after restarting game several times and still having same issue, realised i had not deleted TheIsle folder in Appdata\Local in between switching branches ... so i did that and so far have not had that issue again - see this post: #🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message

For all the people who has problems with crashs that has no error written and have an i9 13900, 14900(K) this is the solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s43Auv8ub7w&t=614s and put your RAM mhz at 5600 on the bios. Also if the games keeps closing like an ALT F4 without crash errors try a different official server, between the servers can be problems, maybe in one you have a problem and other you can play normal. Recently every few hours I play the isle my screen will completely go black, I have a new pc with a great graphic card and this only happens in game. It wouldn’t be annoying if I didn’t have to completely restart the game and my Dino dies due to it still being the game well my screen goes black. Happens at the worsts times.

I love this branch and I play on it a lot. When I reset my pc and when I directly downloaded Evrima before downloading Legacy ever, I was having no performance issues, getting up to 60fps.
However after I switched to Legacy and played some of that, switching back to Evrima severely drops my fps back down to a 15-30.
I heard there was something related to removing a config folder but I cannot find a proper tutorial, can somebody help me do a clean download for Evrima?

sounds good, to download the anti cheat thought you have to go into the isle folder intself and there will be a download anti cheat file or something along the lines of that. click on it and it will download it for you! hope it helps

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.

Hello i been trying to fix this problem with Not seeing underwater as a deino in lakes, and idk what to do. I have an issue with the deino night vision in Evrima. In the lakes supposedly with night vision I should be able to see white lines around the terrain obstacles. Instead i see only blurish surrounding around the body of the deino. The eyes are glowing which means that the night vision is on but i cant see anything around me. 1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Click "View" -> "Big Picture Mode"
Click "Settings" (in Big Picture Mode)

Hello i have a problem with my game. I litteraly can't play.
After a break, i wanted to come back on the isle. So i download it ect..
Then when i start the game all is good, ther is no problem. But when i try to join a server, my computer freeze, and lag asf. Then after 10 mins of lags and freezes, their is the message "you have beed disconected" (or something like that).
I don't know how to fix it, i already delet the game and re download like 5-6 ~ times, i also swithe game of location (SSD then HDD) and nothing change (always the same problem :/).

My game is closing like pressing ALT F4, not giving crash error, nothing but I notice that only ocurrs in some servers, can be this a thing? maaybe the anticheat is the problem and closes the game when detect something? I am thinking this because I played like 5 hours 2 days ago in another official server, but when I change to another one it closes a few min after playing, idk
