By default and as I understand, it invited you to this Isle Official server. So I just logged out because my game was lagging a lot, in the main menus when selecting the server it shows me I have a 42% grown dilo which I was just playing in, but when I do go in the server it brings me to the choose a dino menu. Any way to fix this?

I’m getting crashes 1-2 mins into actually logging into a server today for some reason. I updated my graphics drivers and played fine for like 3 hours then decided to swap servers to play with friends and crashed repeatedly (spawning at east plains)

I’m playing on a higher end rig.
i9 14900k
RTX 4070
32GB RAM

Windows is up to date, drivers are up to date, etc.

I might mention that I don’t get any errors, the game just closes to desktop. Everything on my rig is stable as far as I can tell. I play other games with minimal to no issues. I’m running memtest86 right now just to insure my RAM is good. Anyone had a similar experience and found a fix?

Fatal Error occured. Packmate seen my dino log while running into a concrete fence. Server shows 100% growth, but spawns with choose character screen. If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

I really don't know what I suspect at this point tbh. I cannot seem to narrow down any issues. The game is running flawlessly until it crashes. I don't experience any sort of freezing/stuttering before a crash. The app just closes to desktop. it is still an issue? - check your antivirus is not blocking the isle/isle game .exe - in your antivirus quarantine/vault you might see the isle game file and you can usually click on a arrow and choose to add an exception for the isle game

you could try adding an exception in your antivirus for the isle installation folder - maybe some of the isle files are getting blocked?

(right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar)

eg. '...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle\TheIsle\Binaries\Win64\TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe' and then possibly need to reinstall/verify the game (in steam - right click the isle - properties - installed files - verify)

This happened to me earlier! When I restarted my computer it was fixed, I would try that if you haven't already.

Also if anybody could help me out I would appreciate it, I've been playing as deino for a bit but for some reason I literally never see the blue bubble indicators for creatures that are swimming across the surface of the water. I know deino is supposed to have a sense like that for non-divers, so they can see when something is moving at the surface. Do you only get it at a certain stage of growth? Is it a bug??

The Isle game is quite good but it often has an unknown error called Fartal Error which makes me very frustrated! sometimes I'm running or wandering around, sometimes scavenging, sometimes pvp with other players, sometimes in night vision mode, or drinking water......and Suddenly the Fartal Error appeared, the game screen froze and had to exit the game while the character in the game stood motionless in one place and waited for someone else to kill him! I have tried backing up game files or verifying integrity of game files but they are useless, the fartal error still appears and the developer has not fixed it yet! 😡

Somehow my game looks super blurry/grainy. I have basically tried every thing but I can’t seem to find a solution. Is there maybe some way to turn off motion blur, or how could I fix this?

So, I downloaded the game 5 days ago, and my night vision is working when I click X, as is the case according to the key binds. But two of my friends downloaded the game yesterday, and they can't get night vision to work. What's more is that they are both unable to open the menu via escape while in-game. They can only access the settings while they are at the main menu. But they can move around, jump, sprint, crouch, rest, toggle the character screen and such things. And they've reinstalled the game and other things, but nothing has worked and we find nothing when googling. Is this an issue others have encountered?

Because I just asked, seems we solved it by deleting the config file and relaunching the game. Solved both the menu problem and the night vision problem

Hey, I can't launch the game due to Easy Anticheat not being installed.
I've verified the files, tried to install the Easy Anticheat through the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" file as well, but nothing works.
When I try to install EAsy Anticheat through the .exe, it doesn't launch a program or anything.

I appreciate you writing the list but its weird that they haven't actually fixed any of these issues that the work arounds are for. Hey all, maybe you know a solution. Playing on ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor the game looks amazing, especially the treetop views with a Herrera! However, the jumping indicator falls off the bottom of the screen when aiming upwards for far jumps/pounce on Herrera when playing that resolution.
I found out that practically I need to play windowed 1920x1080 or something squareish to be able to see the jump indicator on the ground for max range jumps, which is a compromise I rather not make seeing how gorgeous the scenery can be

This happens because Ultrawide actually reduces your FoV, it cuts off the top and bottom of the screen, so the herrera jump indicator is likely just falling off the bottom half of the screen.

and your windows 11 is version 22H2 which should be fine but is it fully up to date with no outstanding updates including optional updates? - there is a newer windows version 23H2 out for Windows 11 but it not always offered in the updates depending on any outstanding hardware compatibility issues

My best guess is that my card isn't recognized, and instead of letting me boot the game, it just denies me from booting instead. I was playing the game just fine a couple of weeks ago on this exact hardware, and nothing has changed since then other than a windows 11 update.

I'm not very optimistic, since plenty of people have been having this issue for months it seems now, and nobody has a solution.

I can run other games with DirectX 12 just fine.

For example, I can run Helldivers 2 perfectly fine.

Tried booting with DirectX 11 but it's apparently not supported.

I think I'm having the same issues others are having. I have done everything it tells you to do in steam troubleshooting. I have uninstalled reinstalled, deleted the one file, spun in circles, and yes my drives can run this game. Yet since the new map release, it will load, then kick me out no matter how empty the sever.. Even if I load into a sever and wait in the cue it still kicks me out. So do I just give up and basically throw this game out or is there actually a way to fix this crap, (Without buying a whole new GOD computer or new graphics cards, all of my other games load and play fine)

My guess is that it just assumes the GPU doesn't support DirectX 12 because the graphics card isn't recognized, since Intel is new into making GPUs

Unfortunately Steam won't refund me on the grounds that I cannot play the game I have paid for, so all I can do it sit and wait until they fix the game. In the meantime, we should ensure that nobody using an Intel GPU buys the game, since they won't be able to play.

Crazy how I upgrade my hardware to be able to play the game and it won't run because the launcher is predjudiced against Intel GPUs.

Can ANYONE pleasepleaseplease help me. This game is almost unplayable. I keep getting these Fatal Errors (pic1). Game crashes, then I log back into the server and i get this message (pic2). It will bring me back to the isle home screen, and when i go to log back in for the 2nds time it lets me in. This is a huge problem when the server is full and i have to wait to get back in. My dino stays in game and if there are players around I end up dying. I've done some reading on reddit and found some potential fixes but nothing has helped. I uninstalled legacy snow map. I deleted the game and did a fresh install. I verified my game files. I lowered my graphic settings. I disabled Global Illumination and mechanical ray tracing. NOTHING has helped. I'm at a loss. I see some other fatal errors that people are having but nothing with this Anti cheat message. Could this be a firewall or anti virus software issue? Any help at all would be soooo appreciated.

from my experience (5 litters of deino) you cant feed the babies and most of the time to babies come out with no diet... they forsure die before growing big enough to eat

if they start off with diet they will grow big enough before they starve to eat on their own, it might be intended for runts to feed the other healty hatchlings, also the parents having a full diet helps also

I am having the "Easy anti cheat not installed" issue when trying to launch. I did everything on their website they advised. Uninstalled reinstalled several times, checked integrity of game files, I can not run the setup at all just blinks for a second and never proceeds. Has anyone come into this issue?

you might need to add exception to your antivirus (and possibly firewall) for the isle game folder or at least an exception for the isle game .exe located in '...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle\TheIsle\Binaries\Win64\TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe' and then possibly need to reinstall/verify the game

• after adding exception to your antivirus for the isle you may need to delete the 'The Isle' game folder from where it is installed (right click on the isle in steam - properties - installed files - browse to find the location where the game is installed which will open as a File Explorer window in the background in the taskbar) and then maybe restart your pc/laptop then back into windows and run steam again and see if it successfully downloads the game again

You need to go to The isle local files via Steam and delete this folder there. Fortunately, I had a Zip file of this folder. I just replaced this folder and everything started working.
