hmm not that I know of. The best thing to do is to try playing the game in a different computer, maybe from a friend or so. It can be a problem with that person steam or the PC itself

Hello! I've been having trouble with Evrima graphics, they look very blurry, glitchy and not sharp at all, fps range from 40-60 FPS. I have all my graphic setting up to epic/highest setting possible, and it still looks like this. Is this normal? Also I cant find the render distance setting anywhere, neither ingame, nor the folder. I couldn't play for a while because of an DX12 problem (I use linux), which is fixed now, until the update with the new dinos, but I did get very sharp and good-looking graphics with FPS jumping from 30-50 FPS so the issue shouldn't be because of my graphic card or computer. Any help would be appreciated <3 (graphics look way worse on the ground)

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Night vision will vary between species. That's on purpose. They want some dinosaurs like troodon and dilo to be encouraged to be night time huntes. Though I agree all dinosaurs should have good enough night vision that they can still play at night time and not be forced to hide in a bush the whole time because they can barely see.

There are many reasons you may be disconnected when you join a server

• took too long to connect. You would get a message saying client disconnected connection timed out
• your game is not up to date, would need to check for updates
• you have bad files and need to verify your files
• you have been banned from the server

When you verify your files you basically have steam verify all your game files are correct and not missing any.

You can verify your files by right clicking the isle in steam library, go to properties, click files, then validate files and it should scan your isle files. If there's anything missing or wrong it will fix them

Tells me that Anti-Cheat isn't installed while booting up, but if I go into the game files to try and manually run the setup for Anti-Cheat, a window comes up super quickly before vanishing and nothing else happens. I surfed the internet and found out that this means you are being cleared due to a memory leak. Something with your hardware is causing the game to call both Apex Destruction and one of the Choas plugins. I assume that it is better to buy new RAM or even buy a new computer

Hello. I am having issues when launching The Isle. When I initially tried to launch it, it said “DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument” so I opened up the properties tab and entered -dx11 into the entry box while also reinstalling it. 6. launch the isle and enjoy your life.

For some reason my game crashes nearly every time I try to eat a boar, just says fatal error and closes. Seems to happen on every server with near 1:1 consistency, I log back into the game with vomit sickness bc my herrera just keeps eating while my game closes. If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Having problem with night vision underwater not working. I do not get the outlined rocks etc. and it is extremely murky with a "viewing distance" of about 10ish feet away. Land NV works just fine. I have done multiple steps but cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this. Even my reset option doesnt work to put the settings back to "default". Ive uninstalled/reinstalled, switched back and forth between envrima and legacy, deleted %localappdata% saved files, tried going through EVERY setting and moving them around trying different ones, i can run it on epic everything fully with around 70ish fps consistently and up to 109ish so my rig is just fine. Would love to know if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix it. Thanks

Hey. After a long I decided to start up The Isle again and apparently I am not able to see any servers or host a server of my own. If I try to host a server myself I get a black screen and nothing happens. Anyone can help me with that? I already uninstalled and reinstalled through steam and by going into the folders.

all you need to do is press win+r, type %localappdata%, find the isle, go into saved, config, windowsclient, engine.ini and paste whats in the img exactly like it is and hit ctrl+s

The first time i try to join any server and while connecting, my PC freezes for more then 3 minutes and then my screen goes dark and I disconnect. Your PC restarting is VERY strange. If all hardware cpu,ram,disk and gpu are good it might be driver issue

sounds like your pc has a bottleneck or smt if you get good fps, maybe its just ur ram being weak

It did not run smooth yesterday, in fact it ran terrible! And yes I noticed. I just checked and the in game ping we are seeing is pinging to AWS at adress 52.217.114.201. Not sure why they use this address to measure the players ping instead of the e.g. EU 2 at address 34.255.24.65 which would show the actual ping

But I just launched my game and the server latency seems to be good

If so, then that's the problem. It's a mega bottleneck for the GPU you're using

Yeah right but that is the problem then. The CPU is the brains of your computer. It's responsible for calculating stuff and communicating to your GPU what needs to be rendered. When your CPU usage is 100% it can not properly communicate or calculate stuff because it is already at full usage

And that's why your GPU does not work at a higher usage. If you want to make use of your GPU's full capabilities you're gonna have buy a better CPU

i wouldnt use any anti virus, windows defender is pretty strong these days as long as you take precuation when downloading stuff(like you always should) and gives non of the hastle that external anti virus does

My friend and I were playing deinos, and he couldnt see underwater(2nd pic) and I could see perfectly fine. I had him log, safe log, delete config folder, delete saved folder, and he uninstalled/reinstalled the game with no fix to the underwater night vision.

I don't think the ping has been rendering correctly in ages. it says in-game that I have like 60ms but in reality pinging the machine through the terminal is like 15-20ms. Same was true before the latest patch but opposite. It was displaying in-game way under what it actually was.

Yeah, iirc amarok talked about different systems for ping and then changing or smt, i used to have 50 or so but more lag before this patch on ur server now double the ping but less lag. My guess is they swapped from one way ping(time one way)to two way ping(time back and forth)or whatever he talked about

Just uninstall and during installing install it on the ssd disk (most of the time this is the C drive although this is not always the case)

Why? What pretzel said. SSD is a lot faster. Hard drives read your data physically with a read write head because it is a physical thing the chances of it breaking are bigger.

If your hard drive is broken (which maybe it is not) it could lead to extreme high load times on anything that is on that disk

A couple years ago I used to have a pc that ran on a HDD which somehow also got damaged or something. It caused my pc to have startup times of up to 5-10 minutes. I switched my operating system to my ssd drive and it took 20 ish seconds instead

I am having a weird audio glitch issue. It seems to be mostly with water but it does happen with other things sometimes. The audio stutters and cuts off a bunch really fast. If I turn my head and look around it causes more stuttering, its very odd.

If your character dies when you quicklog it doesn't update the server list dinosaur preview until you log back in. It looks like you may have quicklogged and your 100% carno got killed before despawning.
Regardless, I'm sorry we are unable to replace lost dinosaurs due to bugs or otherwise.
