have you turned on manual alt bite? if you havent, then you automatically alt bite when standing. when its turned on, to alt bite, (the lunging forward) you hold left alt and bite.

If you try to play the isle and it will not launch the game I might have a fix for you!

1. Right click on the isle and go to properties
2. Go to local files and click browse
3. If you see a file called “steam_appid” delete it
4. Still in files right click on the file called “TheIsle”
5. Click on properties and a white window should pop up
6. Click on the tab that says Compatibility
7. Uncheck all of the boxes under settings in comparability and click ok
8. Hopefully all fixed!

Yup! That's an integrated GPU. I'd try searching online to download new drivers for it (that's the software that pairs with the GPU) but as far as I know, integrated processors can't run evrima. It's possible you'll have to upgrade your computer to play it

win+r type in "sysdm.cpl", advanced, settings, advanced, changed, uncheck autoamtic manage paging file size for all drives, dissable paging for the slowest drive(in this case the C drive), take your ram in GB times 1024 so for me its 24 times 1024=24576 and then set it as custom size and set it as both values as seen in the picture

The NV is fine. The devs are addressing the issue as a NV issue because everyone toggles on NV and then complains it isn't working... I have the same issue. The visibility underwater on all servers at all stages of growth and at all times of day is terrible with NV off/on. At the same time I compare side by side screen shots taken by other players on the same server at the same time and they have view distances that I used to experience. It seems to be a client related issue, however no changes on my part caused it and no amount of changes to settings seems to fix it. It happened randomly to me in previous month, and randomly fixed. Now I have been stuck with it for weeks.

Did you check if steam has already updated Theisle for you? The same thing happened to me but I saw that it was not updated with the latest patch

Doesn't appear to have worked, still got a black screen. Can hear the ambient noise of rain (though my earlier attempts I just heard a low rumble), but that's about it. Oh well.

Hi my friends just bought the isle and when they try to launch evirma it comes up with this? DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.
Theyre GPU is a AMD Radeon R7 360 series. We’ve tried updating the drivers and windows and still are having issues. Please help x Thanks

Would anyone know what the hardware requirements are now for Evrima? I have a discord and a lot of people send me their components and ask "will this game work for them on this".
I don't know anything about assembling computers so if someone could give me such examples of components that are generally enough to play the game smoothly? Because what's on steam are Legacy requirements rather than Evrima.

I know it's not exactly a problem with the game, but when someone gets a "dx12" error it's already about their graphics card.

I've been having an issue lately with attempting to run Evrima. I have done a clean install, verified files, updated Steam client, cleared config folder, and the game fails to launch from Steam. I'll hit "Play" and it will act like it wants to start, and then revert right back to Play. Any ideas? I'm at a loss and this is getting frustrating. what i think the isle - evrima minimum requirements/specs:

• win 10/11 (64 bit edition) (up to date with latest windows updates/fairly recent microsoft windows version - preferably 22H2 or later - run winver.exe to get current windows version)
• quad-core intel or amd processor, 3.0 GHz or faster
• graphics card (discrete gpu - not integrated onboard graphics) with 8GB vram or higher (some report they do run it on cards with 4GB vram?) - that supports directx level 12_1, 12_0 (used by unreal engine 5.0 and above which evrima is now using) and is running the latest/recent graphics driver (nb. i'm not sure if level 12_1 is required currently but definitely 12_0 support is but in the future as evrima uses later versions of unreal engine 5 or even unreal engine 6 eventually - different feature sets may be utilised by the isle evrima devs so 12_1 and even 12_2 support and so on may become a necessary requirement in the future)
• 8GB ram memory
• 10GB hard drive/ssd space for game install
• broadband internet connection

to check what level of directx hardware support your graphics card supports:

you run dxdiag.exe from the windows start/search (Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")) ... select the display tab ... on the right hand side look for where it says feature levels ... check if it supports 12_1, 12_0 and not just 11_1, 11_0, 10_1, 10_0, 9_3, 9_2, 9_1, 9_0 etc ... you can also see what graphics driver version/date you are running just above it

yeah i am getting this error in my windows 11 install which was running evrima fine so i deleted 'The Isle' folder in my steam games folder so it got downloaded again in steam and also deleted the 'TheIsle' folder in appdata but neither of this resolved the error so rebooted into my windows 10 install and am not getting that error in windows 10 running evrima

notice it refers to the usually hidden administrator account? is that a compile/build error local to where they created the package?

i'm going to reboot soon to my windows 11 install and try and troubleshoot it but i imagine they might bring out a small patch to fix this ...

hello, i have a problem running the evrima version of the isle. I have a gtx 1050 ti and the game will not even boot up popping up an error windo that says "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.". As far as i know this gpu supports dx12 and the dxdiag that i have ran on windows confirms that i have dx12. Any ideas what the problem might be? I have the latest version of drivers installed from the geforce app

Hey! I have a question. I was playing as a deino on EU 7, and I reached around 61% growth, then my game froze and ultimately crashed. When I rejoined the game, I was put back in the spawn menu and had to select a dino. I've been playing for a few hours now trying to grow this deino, and now it's all gone due to one crash.

my card has 4gb. However this should only affect the loading of ingame textures and the performance and frame rate. It shouldn't mention anything about direct X and every game in existance that requires more V ram than what you have opens just fine and the only problem is the performance afterwards. It should boot regardless of me having less vram than recommended. If the vram was the issue why mention direct x. I run it at 768p anyway because i have an older monitor.

To clear the config:

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Delete it.
   Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.

To verify:

1. Right click the game in your Steam library
2. Click Properties
3. Click Installed Files
4. Click Verify integrity of game files

you could try checking your graphics card/gpu load and gpu temp while the game is running:

switch out to the desktop and run gpu-z while evrima is running in the background, switch to the sensors tab and check the GPU Load and also Memory Used and GPU Temperature
