~~It's refreshing to see that I'm not the only one experiencing crashes when trying to connect to servers, but it's also saddening to see that no potential solutions have been offered. I still can't play the game. Pre-Gateway, I was able to connect. I had those server full "issues" before, this is different. I can't even tab out when the program crashes. I've verified my game files, checked for driver updates, disabled my VPN, reduced my graphics options to as low as possible; nothing.

It would be nice to at least get a thread running for this specific issue so that those of us experiencing it have a hub to share information and check in if the devs address it and find a solution.~~

Hey guys, so I'm having some issue with FPS in-game.

I've tried setting my graphic settings to the LOWEST possible and even changing resolution to around 720p, restarted my game, put the game on High Priority, and my fps is 5-20 Max.

Then the server loads for about 30 seconds before booting me back to the main menu screen with the “connection to the host has been lost” pop up. This happened every single time. 3050ti is a mobile GPU right? These are always weaker than the desktop counterpart, and even a with a desktop variant 3050 you'll maybe only get 60fps on average.

Only stronger hardware will really make a difference, you can try to tweak some of your settings, there isn't any mod which improves performance. You can look up guides which could help you improve performance, although they might be outdated as most of them were for spiro (or older versions of the game which might used an older version of UE).

Okay so, my game won't work, like at all. I get to the launcher, write in the server name and it stands there loading for 10 minutes, if not more. Then I get no servers found, I can't click update. I have tried ALL the options that you can find on steam and google to try and solve the problem. NOTHING works. I have restarted the pc, closed Microsoft .NET Framework, tried changing from 5000 to 1000, refreshing servers, and all the other stuff I read trough. It doesn't work. Even if this were the case, I was able to join an Official EU server with 194 ping just fine, as opposed to my server, which was giving me 104 ping as is in a NA datacenter.

I have problem with The Isle for some time lately. Whenever I run The Isle, its fine. Low ping, good fps. But after few minutes of playing, my game just randomly starts absolutely lagging, fropping from 60 fps to 5 fps. I already tried many things to fix it, but it didnt worked. There is no hardware issue as I suggest, since it can run high quality games perfectly. This problem as well appeared for my friend with GTA online. What should I do?

Hello, I seem to have an issue with the normal Mouse 1 bite attack on all dino's. For some reason my dino's can only do the (alt)ernate attack bite which costs stam for example on cera / omniraptor. I've tried to change setting on the left mouse button and the ALT buttons, but I jsut can't get my dino to bite normally.
This is anoying for example when I want to just open up a corpse with bites and not waste a lot of stamina. And I should just be able to normally bite in general.. Anyone have this issue / can help?

server counter cannot display the correct amount of players due to them leaving and joining, so try to get into a server that says 100/100, it will put you in a queue

Hello 👋 My friend has a problem which is -
When she is trying to turn on the game . The game won't start but it will throw up a window saying " directX 12 isn't supported on your system . Try running it without -dx12 or -d3d12 line" and this yady yady yada .. meanwhile she has all her drivers to date and her system and graphic driver clearly say that her stuff is running on -dx12 . i have tried every single thing possible .. even the stuff you guys prob don't even know exists - but I am up for any suggestions what else should we try . I do understand computer stuff and this seems just like a dev problem to me - but you are free to show me something i don't know .. anybody how to fix this issue

Open the game files and there is easyanticheat installer and if that doesn't work cuz isle most of the time has outdated anticheat installer . Download a diff small game for free that has anticheat like Brawlhalla and it will install the new version itself and then isle should work

@quartz turret If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

hey can anyone help. Every time I play the isle I get about 10 minutes of play before my entire computer freezes, audio hitches, then the entire computer dies. This hasnt happened for any other games and it is a brand new computer that can run the isle at 140 fps. Wierdly, if I let the computer restart, it will remain completely frozen, but if I manually restart and then reenter the isle I am able to play for as long as I want with no further crashes

oddly enough, on the fresh reinstall, my first session it played fine. it was only after I closed that session and waited a while, then opened the game again on the next day that the problem persisted

Day 6: I have a problem, where I tried to change my effects setting from low to high then my game crashed and now every time I try to join a server my screen freezes for like 10 mins then it goes black and then the Isle either closes its self or takes me back to the main menu. Try setting the icon to hide empty servers in Evrym, after which it should find the server and perhaps also solve the problem with crashes, but if this does not help, try reinstalling the game. If this does not help, you need to look at what components of your computer you have, perhaps they are not suitable for the game. If everything is fine and restarting the game does not help, you should expect a new patch with bug fixes, etc...
