Do not trust the player-count, it can't keep up with the numbers of people joining/leaving/crashing so it displays the wrong number. If the server says it's full, then it's full.

Optimisation is an ever on-going process and it's going to be better or worse depending on the updates until the game is further along in its development, allowing the devs to focus on optimisation without risking to have to redo it again at the next update.
But there's only so much they can do for low-end and older systems.

Yeah it happened a lot on gateway but I switched back to Evrima and I’ve had the same problem, not as bad, but it was still pretty annoying. My friend doesn’t have the same problem though. I’m in NA and joined the nearest servers and it was still pretty consistent

Try clearing the config folder

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

hey so everytime i try to load into a server ill freeze for about a minute or three before joining but now on the test server once i get a slot i freeze on connecting and stay frozen.

If you have overheating problems, you need to solve said problems at their roots. A.k.a cleaning your computer, getting a better CPU cooler, repasting the CPU/GPU, etc.
But first, what do you call overheating? What temps are you reaching?

Ah, well, that's pretty much expected then. As long as it doesn't turn off, you're fine. Gateway's optimisation is always being worked on so for now you can only wait. And yes, make sure to disable Lumen and Ray-Tracing in the settings.

Yesterday while I had been fighting as a teno my controls bugged out. At least I'm assuming that is what the issue is.

My bite was my left mouse button, my kick was my right, my claw was a side button on my mouse, and my tail slam was my middle mouse button (no alt, ctrl, etc)

Locate the Isle folder, open it.

Gateway Connection Issue

I am having trouble joining a server as my game keeps crashing. It seems to happen when I am able to secure a spot on the server since I only receive a "Server is full" notification when the game doesn't crash. I do not receive any error messages or crash-related information, the game simply shuts off. I was able to connect without issues yesterday, but today I am experiencing this problem. I have attempted various solutions that were suggested, but none of them have worked. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely, deleting the Config file in the Saved Folder, and verifying the game multiple times, but nothing helps. Seeeems like the minimum is around an AMD Radeon RX 570 or GTX 1050, not sure if the 900 series can manage
