Yes, exactly. That GPU only supports feature level 11_0 and can therefore not run the game.

Dx12 Feature level 12_0 is the minimum requirement since the isle changed to UE5+ with the latest update.

Asking for a friend here. My friends game keeps breaking. Its becoming a regular issue. Basically everyday lately the have error 3005 failuretocreatefile on their anticheat. They fix it, and then are able to play the game, but then the next time they open the game the error is back. Its becoming a 'everytime they go to play the game' issue.

The following has been done to attempt to fix this error

• Verifying game file integrity
• Re installing
• Installing to secondary drive
• Re installing the anti cheat

Reinstalling the game repairs the issue. But needless to say. They dont exactly want to have to reinstall the game everytime they want to play

i keep getting fatal errors on startup for this game, first it was some sort of problem involving not supporting dx12 or something and now the games telling me it won't run because "RHI 'D3D11RHI' isn't supported." I've tried just about everything from restarting my computer to disabling my GPU to try and run the game. No dice.

I've also triple checked and all my drivers are updated. The only thing i could think of that could posibly be causing this problem is a cumulitave update for windows that keeps trying and failing to re-install itself over and over and over again

You seem to have 2 gfx chips - the RX one might work so get the newest AMD driver - I am not familiar with Radeaon but if there is an option to select which GFX to use for the game then choose the RX and see if that works.

yeah, i did go ahead and run the update troubleshooter on my pc. It seemed to work at first but then after i restarted to apply the update and waited a while the update just popped right back up again

this is an indication that there was a problem installing the update and is a more serious issue and probably requires manually uninstalling and installing specific updates - but that would be something to ask in a microsoft forum

Yep. Game isn't getting any easier to run as it's developed.

All it takes is a minor feature update that your GPU hates, and then kaput, it'll stop working with it due to software and hardware conflicts

You character stays in game if your hard log (just exiting the game without safely logging out) or if it crashes. In that timeframe you could be killed unfortunatley, which most likely happened in your scenario.

I can't get into the Au1 server. Been sitting in multiple queues since the restart at 8:30. get to 1/whatever and it says server full and puts you to the back of the queue. the queue is consistently between 12-16 so i'd say it's not jsut me. I've restarted twice but no luck

They do their best and they help when they can (especially when it comes to cheaters) but they're not gonnna be available 100% of the time

People are banned on the daily for cheating (sometimes the same person multiple times). But when i say they arent available 100% of the time, i mean they are going to miss thing or be unavailable for things.

But. to get the channel back on topic. if you have any suggestions for changes you'd like to see. you can put it in #general-feedback whether that be more admins, different way to report, or enabling replays or whatever else you may think of

You do realise that there's community servers, who has well above the "official server" player cap, and they are also "just" volunteers, and manage to ban, respond to tickets and other aspects a lot faster (probably because replay is actually enabled there, and utilized)... There's way more cheaters I've encountered on the one official server I've dipped in and out of, than any of the unofficial servers I've been on. And those servers actually do have a much better excuse too, they actually aren't "official", or representing the game

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Hello, I need some admin or developer to help with an issue here.
I need to remove a workshop subscription so the game stops trying to update.

The game is already updated. But because of this workshop subscription, he keeps trying to update again and again.
It doesn't matter if I switch to legacy or evrima.
I buy the game when the workshop still existed, I signed up for some on the 1st or 2nd day after purchase and shortly afterwards the workshop became unavailable for new registrations and also to remove them.

That's unfortunatley the case, this card has only up to 4 gigs of VRAM. The minimum requirements for legacy is a GTX 960, the store page is not updated for evrima yet, that will change once it became the main branch, but evrima needs better hardware for stable FPS.

Sometimes players have alternative accounts on which they grow separate creatures to play with, that's maybe what you witnessed, unless you can confirm it's the same account, which you should report to us directly via DM or by using the evrima channels.

your cpu is probably bottlenecking then, you can't switch it to 50/50 through some settings

Hey guys, i'm having several fps drop on center, i can play at 60-80 FPS on south, but when I go near to center, fps crashes to 10-30 FPS.
I'm have a ryzen 3700x, 2070 super (8gb) and 32 gb ram. I had the same problem before the UE update, so idk if its me or just the map crashes the game.
I also noticed, my gpu goes from 99% usage to about 50-60% when the FPS drops (in center area) and keep those values when i go away from center

I've been dealing with rubberbanding for a week now and I'm unsure why. It ranges from very minor like in this clip to "rounding a corner, only to be dragged 3 dino lengths backwards and slam into the wall instead". I'll have to see. Lately I've only been playing Zooming Islander but the issue is nobody else I've spoken to deals with it, and my ping is always in the 80s-90s range which is average for me. This has only been happening recently.

FWIW it's worse the faster I am. Omni, galli, carno, and troodon are the worst because I'll be sent back in time several dino-lengths. Cera so far has been manageable where I only get rubberbanded back a few paces behind where I was.

I’ve been having since U4 some really big optimization issues that have been dissuading me from playing the game. Even though I could run legacy with high settings and have a good frame rate, here everything seems kind of blurry and my fps very rarely surpass 25-30 whenever I try to get into the game

Legacy is a 2015 game that is very easy to run. Evrima on the other hand is a 2020 game still getting updates and running on a very new engine, so basically it's a 2023 game which is on top of that harder to run. Depending on your hardware, not having good FPS on Evrima can be completely normal and there isn't much you can do for that. What specs do you have? (CPU, GPU and RAM especially)

i downloaded the game from steam, and downloaded legacy first and then evrima. I was able to launch Legacy trough the exe.file in the folder, but not from steam. Evrima i just cant play, whenever i click play on steam it just wont do anything, it'll say ''running install script (Microsoft .NET Framework)'' and it'll give me the option to cancel, but it wont really do anything no window will appear. If i try and launch it from the exe. file, what it'll do is just launch the game and download the AntiCheat and then the real game just wont show up

Here is what i did:

1: go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS then delete EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe application
2: browse local file where your steam theisle located
3: run InstallAntiCheat batch file

• now you will notice the new EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe will be created
  4: then you can happily run the game 🙂

(i think this one is for thos who run InstallAntiCheat batch but still having problem with StartServiceError 1053 EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe in the Program Files C x86)

i dunno but testing so many kind of solution for that error 20006 startservice 1053 but when i notice that the real problem i did that

i was so annoyed that the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe is not really properly running (startservice error 1053) and i found when i follow the above and just run the InstallAntiCheat batch I notice that the EAS_EOS from program files(x86) didn't change or get updated so am thinking maybe the file but i already did the verified integrated files frrom steam and get all the file properly so I just think the file from (x86) is not good or not properly installed so first i remove the EasyAntiCheat_EOS folder but made a backup but then the install wont work for that so i restore that folder and instead just delete the .exe file and the install did the recreation of the app new exe app and update then start the game then it works.

i dunno why the installanticheat batch don't have the power to override the file but i already run at admin so maybe the installer folder is too secure for that

#🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message If this is your GPU then yes, you need a newer GPU. Legacy was not running on UE5 and did not require feature level 12_0 which evrima does. This unfortunatley means that older cards that don't support said feature level can't run evrima.

I'm having major performance issues and I have been for a while now, I've tried every possible way of optimizing my graphics and gameplay performance, ive configured my graphics a while ago, and even tried using the in-game options. So I've been switching between Legacy and Evrima lately. I recently switched back to Evrima and my game has been freezing up about every 20-30 seconds for 15 mins tops before my game is stuck frozen all together, the same way it freezes when you fatal crash. Except it doesn't say not responding or close itself, it's just stuck on my screen. Even when I close The Isle, Steam says its running still so I need to manually stop running the game. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both Steam and The Isle multiple times. I have completely removed both Steam and The Isle files from my computer and redownloaded them, I've verified files, pretty much everything I can think of or find on the internet I've tried and this issue is still present. I have nooo idea what to do and I need help 😦

I use a headset. It happens when the game starts to lag/freeze, and then the sound cuts off. When it comes back, my dinosaur is silent, but the background noise is LOUD and echoed. Directional sound is missing - so I can’t tell where something is coming from as it’s all just THERE.
