ik im quite late to this but i also find that if you close steam out completely and make sure its not running into the background then follow this file path and delete the highlighted file then reload steam it usually fixes that issue as well. it also helps if your getting the failed app configuration error on steam as well.

Please help. Just bought The Isle today and decided to launch Evrima. Faced a popular problem - EasyAntiCheat is not installed. I watched a lot of guides, where everyone advised to run the anti-cheat itself in the game folder, but when I run it, the command line appears for a second and immediately disappears. This most likely means your gpu is too out of date

Dx12 error is not tied to the EAC error you've got earlier. Are your GPU and windows drivers up to date? If no, update the GPU driver either through NVIDIA GeForce Experience or the AMD equivalent.

That is if your GPU supports the latest feature level for DX12, what GPU do you have?

I'm afraid your GPU does not support the latest Feature Level for DX12 - you'll have to get a new one to run the isle.

Anything gtx 1050 ti and above can run the game at a minimum

There is a bug where the server fails to load your character profile properly. If you encounter this, you'll want to exit the game asap, no safelogging or creating a new character, as that would overwrite your progress. If you rejoin it might load your character again. Whilst you have our sympathy, we do not offer regrows in such circumstances.

Check their community discord - maybe they can help you out with restoring it.

This bug can uncommonly occur. There is no specific trigger so I can't guarantee you that it won't happen when you grow another creature.

However, you mentioned it happened on unofficial servers. Like I said above, try to get in contact with them via their community discord, maybe they are willing to help you out in that scenario.

Well integrated graphics won't work at all to my knowledge. But your GPU only supports Dx12 feature level 11_0 meaning you won't be able to run the isle with that card. You'll need one which at least has feature level 12_0

I completely uninstalled the game from my computer and restarted it. After downloading again and went to the local files. And there will be a file InstallEasyAntiCheat.exe I ran it as administrator and then the game opened

This is a known bug which just recently was happening more frequently. My guess it's tied to the server issues - but that's only my thoughts on it. Yes thats the easy and convenient way, like laptop or prebuild, but those are generally overpriced and underpowered by a few parts it may have.
Building a pc can be cheaper and make it much more powerful then a prebuild unless you upgrade, and def better then a laptop

If your like me and dont know to build a pc you can bring the parts to a pc repair shop and they would put your parts together for a fee

What do you mean? Your problem sounds more like you just need to wipe your Config folder.
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Open the Saved folder.
Delete the Config folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings.)

Hi I have been playing the game with this issue for some time now and I am just wondering whether it would be my game settings or system/hardware issues I am facing off with. The shadows in my games are overly contrasting and shift around improperly, it is most prominent on the undersides of leaves and sometimes on my dino in dimmer environments (like the wrinkles in the second image) I am not too miffed by it as it barely impacts gameplay but so far in my graphics issue troubleshooting ineptness I have yet to find a potential fix.

You can request to be unstuck, check the pinned comments in the evrima-channel corresponding to your region, such as #evrima-na.

You're on the legacy branch of the game. There are no official servers on that branch anymore. If you want to play the active development branch you have to switch to evrima.

To do so go into your steam library > RMB on the isle > properties > beta and there you can switch over to the evrima beta branch.

I can no longer play the isle. I logged out normall lint night and now everytime i launch the game steam shuts down and the islew can not connect to the servers. It tells me to shut down and restart my pc which does not work

yes just says that the isle was unable to connect to the steam client- make sure that steam is running and try to restart. Any time i luanch the isle is shuts down steam. I have tried everything i can think of.

I have steam open and visible. I click on the isle icon whether on my desktop or in steam. The isle starts and I can physical see steam close out while the isle boots up. It tells me i cant connect to steam, then steam starts back up again

steam has to be running when the isle connects to the servers. When the game is launching it shuts down steam during thaty process then starts it back up again. the over lay wont do anything becasue its alrwady erroed before i can try and start the overlay

So long as you dont go and download things, maybe try disabling your anti-virus when launching the game, the onlything google comes back with is that the anti-virus can cause this. just like i said, dont go downloading anything until you turn it back on

im going to restart again. I think i know whats going. My keyboard comes with a pc boost where it will shut down uneed process's and steam was selected but its never done this before. I am going to change the setting and restart and see if that doies asnything

I have tried everything Reinstalling drivers deleting them and re installing again, everything that its said on the pamphlet thingy and even completely wiping my computer and installing everything back again

Win 10 works differently than win 11. There might be some kinda program you have on ur pc that dosent work like win 11 of something like that. Modern computers are kinda dumb somtimes
