It's a GPU crash. Capping the FPS might help. Also make sure lumen and ray-tracing are turned off.
If the crashes still happen, they can try to underclock their GPU and/or to update their BIOS, but I don't recommend doing it if they don't know what they're doing.

EDIT: the issue came back after rebooting my PC. So it was not a fix afterall.

I have finally found a solution to Line: 868 after attempting every single suggested fix in discord and reddit.

I tuned my GPU frequency (MHz) and voltage to the following numbers:

*1) Increased the minimum frequency (MHz) to 1500

2. Decreased the maximum frequency (MHz) to 2700

3. Slightly decreased my voltage (mV) to 1150*

numbers may vary with your specs, but something like that should do the trick

I've been getting these fatal errors since the update, and everytime I log back in after a fatal error I get a "anti-cheat integrity check failed (0x2200) you have been disconnected"
Sometimes the game will simply close out of nowhere with no fatal error messages.

Note: It is random and sometimes It will crash 3 times in 10 minutes and sometimes It will take like 2-3 yours but it will happen.

I've tried: veryfing files, reinstalling the game, reinstalling anticheat, changing resolution and graphics, updating drivers, deleting save folder, deleting every folder, reinstalling directx, that's what I can remember.

If you are on Legacy, they can take a while to appear. On Evrima, you shouldn't have problems though.

To allow The Isle through your firewall:
Windows settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Firewall and network protection > Allow an app through firewall > Modify the settings > Allow another app > Browse > find the Isle app by following this path: This PC > Local C: drive > Programs (x86) > Steam > steamapps > Common > The Isle > TheIsle > Binaries > Win64 > select ”TheIsle-Client-Win64-Shipping” app (only click once). Then click OK.

For the still running on Steam issue, try to close Steam (like completely close it through task manager) and see if that helps.

hey guys my friend has constant driver crashes in envrima and we dont know what could cause that. he is playing on a rtx 3070 (Laptop GPU) he tried latest drivers, now he tries to run same driver as me (cause i rarely have crashes). Are driver crashes a known Issue?

That's a GPU crash rather than a driver crash. Some cards are affected by it while others, like yours, are not at all affected. I doubt trying out other driver versions will help, but that's something he can still try.
Other known potential fixes:

• capping the FPS to 60;
• underclocking the GPU;
• updating the BIOS.
  It's possible it only works for one game session though, then the crashes can happen again the next time you play...
  Only ”official fix” is to wait for the devs to figure out how to bypass that issue due to UE5 and DX12.

so after a driver update the game set itself to a higher res his laptop could handle, maybe that was the issue

so we r testing if that reduces the crashes

also we capped the fps to 60 for now and turned of unnecessary settings like lumen

because he actually played some time, the crashes were recently more, but maybe because of the res change

You were seriously misinformed if you bought a laptop without a dedicated graphics card to play a game like The Isle. :/ Games like this require gaming PCs, so PCs with dedicated graphics cards. Yours only have integrated graphics, that is to say graphics provided by your CPU, but that's too weak for a game like TI.

This card seems pretty weak, I don't think you can do much to improve your FPS. Lower everything, mess with the anti-aliasing options until you find the one that gives you the best performance, but that's pretty much all you can do.

hello quick question for anyone that knows, when I bite with left click with my deino its the same one as the alt bite which consumes stamina and is omnidirectional, and i cant get my normal left click to be the regular bite that doesnt cosume stamina, i reset the controls and everything and still nothing

It was fixed for me after deleting the Saved folder shortly after the last hotfix.
So try deleting the Saved folder, also delete the D3DSCache folder for good measure

Sorry, I really don't know what fixed it in the end. Alter days of GameThreadTimeouts after 5min everytime I tried playing that last hotfix came, I deleted the folder, all was good from there on.

Try this:
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Delete the Saved folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings and your skin presets.)

I recommend using another software, I don't know if Geforce Experience has one built-in (AMD does), otherwise there's MSI Afterburner. It's possible task manager doesn't show accurately. Have you noticed a drop in FPS?

• your graphics card (right-click on your task bar > Task manager > Performance > GPU. If there's GPU 0 and GPU 1, it's GPU 1 you have to look at);

• your Windows version (right-click on the Windows icon > System > scroll down to Windows specifications and see what version it says you have).

On evrima am anyone tell me why it won’t let me play? When I click to load the game it will pull up and on the easy cheat page set and say waiting on game, or connecting to game something like that, then it closes off like it’s loading but nothing. I reverted my GPU driver to the last one dated 04/08 and that did not fix the issue.

2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.

5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Delete the "Saved" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, as well as delete any saved skins.
