They don't have the same requirements at all. Evrima runs on Unreal Engine 5 with DirectX 12 only features. Understand: modern and heavy graphics features, so you need a (fairly recent) dedicated graphics card.

Make sure ray-tracing and lumen are turned off. Cap your FPS to 60. If that fails, and if you're comfortable going to that length, underclock your GPU.

Hello dear admins,

I have a question. You may be familiar with the option of filters that Nvidia provides for all kinds of games? These allow us to adjust various settings related to gamma, shadows, and lighting, making night scenes as bright as day, thus eliminating the need for night vision entirely.

This trend has started to become prevalent in my group, and every time I pointed out that it seemed like cheating, everyone became quite upset. They argue that it's not cheating if the game allows it and that since it's a program from Nvidia, it shouldn't be considered cheating, etc.

After being expelled from the group, I am now asking myself: Is it really okay to circumvent game mechanics using Nvidia programs just because they come from Nvidia and not from some unknown programmer? Does the fact that you cannot prevent it make it acceptable?

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide your perspective on this matter, especially concerning the use of third-party programs that influence gameplay.

2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
8. Restart the game. The issue should be fixed.

I don't have any videos to share as most are outdated. This is high demanding game on both the gpu and cpu. UE5 is no joke and was not made for older generations of gpus.

Device manager will only update your drivers if you have the latest drivers in your files. So it's pretty useless to use it. You need to use your GPU's software app, for example, Geforce Experience for Nvidia GPUs or AMD Adrenaline for AMD GPUs. You can also just use their websites.

I would suggest to uninstall AMD Adrenaline and reinstall it with the link I provided above. If that fails, I would then suggest to wipe your drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and try again.
Also google ”how to prevent windows update from overwriting my graphics drivers”, that will be VERY helpful for you. I had fatal crashes on my PC because Windows overwrote my drivers. Fun times.

There are no problems with the game. The game is no longer compatible with DX11 because it uses DX12-only features, which require a dedicated GPU supporting feature level 12_0 or higher as well as up-to-date graphics drivers which you cannot have because the support for your GPU has ended.

I am not aggressive. Your latest drivers are still not up-to-date. The latest drivers you can have with this GPU are at least one year old. That's old. You'd need to have drivers from this or last month. Which is not possible since the driver support for your old GPU has ended and will not come back.

AMD has absolutely no good reason to bring back the driver support for their old GPU. That costs money and such. What you want is just unrealistic.

You are, once again, overlooking the fact that even though your card supports FL 12_0, it is not up-to-date drivers-wise and cannot be.

Without the latest drivers (23.7.1, but you can't have that version with your old card), your GPU has no idea how to communicate with the latest DX12 features. It doesn't know what it is. It can't communicate and use them.

The screenshot I showed earlier shows Don saying Nanine (as well as other DX12-only features used in the game) is not supported by DX11 so DX11 will not come back. That should be enough to show you that there isn't a problem with the game.

Well, even if you go back to Windows 10, it will not solve the problem with the graphics drivers, so that's a pretty useless advice on their part. Now I'm not sure how badly being on Windows 11 affect your performance on other games, but if you don't have performance issues then you can completely stay on Windows 11. Going back to Windows 10 will not magically make The Isle work since you would still not have the required drivers.

Putting less load on your GPU. That's what makes it crash (the crash is a GPU crash). UE5 has rendering issues, which puts too much load on your GPU, making it crash. It affects very differently from GPUs to GPUs (many don't have any crash issue) and it's not related to how powerful or not your GPU is.

Your driver version should be 536.67. Is it the one you have?

It's not really a good way to tell because some editions of Windows (like Windows Enterprise) don't get all updates, so it will still show up as being up-to-date whereas it doesn't have the right version (22H2).

There are also people who have a corrupted Windows so it will show no new updates even if they don't have the latest version.

Put at least the textures on epic, and if it doesn't work, try that:
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Open the Saved folder.
Delete the Config folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings.)

I'm not sure how to update the NVIDIA drivers, cause when I go to the website the card that I have is not on the list of supported products (GeForce GTX 760)

Go to the server chat corresponding to your region (#evrima-eu, #evrima-na, etc.) and ping the Official server admin role.
Give them your username and the exact server you are on.
Log out and come back online when an admin tells you to, as not to die from starvation or thirst.

If you are stuck on a tree, you can also log out, log back in and walk while the world is still loading.

Did you get the drivers from the hardware manufacturer's website or through windows? Through windows directly is known to cause problems.

In DM they told me they got AMD Adrenaline and were downloading the drivers so let's see if that worked!

No it doesn't work. You have to figure out how to install the drivers. Try to uninstall Geforce Experience and directly download the drivers from the website.

If you have a GPU supporting feature level 12_0 or higher and an up-to-date Windows then yeah updating the drivers will do the trick.
