Hey, I just bought the game. I have stable 90 fps on legacy with high-med settings, the game looks nice. But on Evrima the game runs at 30-50 fps that goes up and down a lot (on all low except Textures on med and Shadows on med), but that would be okay, the issue is the game also looks really blurry to the point it's very annoying, mostly when I move. Tried deleting config folder and most stuff I could search up on the internet, nothing helped. Is my pc just too weak for Unreal engine 5? (I have a GTX 1650 and a I3-10105f/pretty weak I know)

i need admin, pretty much last friday i was playing on eu1 as deinosuchus (was at 77% growth), i logged out in a bush near the centre river and a few minutes ago i logged back into eu1 and as i loaded in i fell through the map and an error code came up then it crashed, i reloaded it and went into eu1 again and i didnt have a character and it wanted me to select my dino.

Hi. Since I've tried the latest version of evrima, I've noticed there is no option in the settings to adjust the scale. I remember everything looking very soft/grainy/blurred until i found the scale which was at around 70% or something, then it looked perfectly sharp at 100%. Now, I see no option for the scaling and the game looks horribly blurred. A lot of the time, the trees in the distance look very pixelated and the trunks of them often get split and look like the top of the tree is floating in the air. Honestly feels like something is wrong with my eye sight... Another way of describing it would be like a water painting. Everthing looks so washed out even on maximum settings. Is this really all related to the scale, or is it motion blur or other things now being able to be set to "off"?

I've seen compys floating idly in the water by "the cut" in the center of the map on NA 1, 3, 5, and 7. Generally there are 3-12 of them floating there.

Not 100% sure of the cause, but I'm guessing I'm seeing it there as that's where I spend most my water time. And I feel like myself and all the other beipis are killing whoever is swimming across and leaving their body, attracting the small AIs. If this isn't a localized event and is happening is 3-5 locations around the server it could be a factor in the reduced spawn rates of AI? Not sure if the reduced AI was intentional and I missed it

Possible fixes:

Go to The Isle install directory, then manually delete everything in the install directory.
Verify integrity of game files to redownload the game.
Make sure to do a clean installation of the latest GFX card drivers for your card. (Make sure to restart PC afterward)
In your windows search bar, type in cmd and right click command prompt and open as administrator.
In command prompt, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes. Wait for scan to complete. (Restart your PC afterward)
Go to the microsoft directx end-user runtime web installer page and download the installer.
Run the installer and follow the onscreen prompts. (After installation, restart PC)
Press "Windows key + r", then type in %localappdata%
Manually delete "TheIsle" folder, "D3DSCache" folder, and "UnrealEngine" folder.

Other things:

In steam, right-click The Isle, and go to properties.

So don't have tons of things running in the background while playing the isle, remember the isle is VERY poorly optimized, and is more treated like a passion project then a game. Yes they can go into #evrima-na you will need to ping an Official server admin, give them your ign (in game name) and what na server your in. An admin will contact you when they are able to get you unstuck, or they will do It right then. Stay in game while you can, if your going to starve or dehydrate log until an admin can unstuck you

When I got fatal error I usually restart the entire game, when that didn't work I uninstalled and reinstalled anticheat and that did the trick. Have you tried deleting save folders aswell? That might work 🤷‍♂️

Well if your spamming it a whole ton it causes it to crash, new bug that happened with u6.5, now if your crashing in game/freezing or can't do anything then you need to delete your whole saved folder not just the config.

Go to the isle
Click on your saved folders and delete config folder, if that doesn't work delete saved folder.

Waiting in queue is a smarter choice, it works fine for me, just a little bit of a wait usually

When a troodon pounces someone you will make a sound (kinda a trill) after this sound que you pounce again. When sniffing your prey will change from blue to purple once you've completed the second pounce and waited for sound que, once doing the same thing for the third you've successfully envenomed your prey and now you do increased damage as you continue to pounce and listen to sound ques. If you pounce before sound ques your envenomatiom process gets reset so you need to be coordinated

Hello, is there anything i can do regarding Update 6.5's GPU utilization? I've noticed that my GPU utilization varies from certain areas on the map (specifically around 40-60% utilization around center), however that utilization always stays in steady values only differing by about -+15% depending on the location. (another example being south east, where i was able to reach a steady 65-80% utilization). Before Update 6.5, the game almost always ran on maximum GPU utilization, therefore i wasn't having problems with low FPS (below 60). Is this something to do with the UE5 change? Is there some possible way to get my GPU to always run at a 100% utilization?

The build i'm currently running The Isle through:

• GPU: RTX 3060 Ti 8GB
• CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
• RAM: 32GB 3600Mhz CL16

If you need any other details then let me know! it's just been pretty frustrating to play at 20-30 fps in certain areas even tho i know my rig is fully capable of doing so at much better framerates.

The game looks very fuzzy? i've had similiar issues in other games when my VRAM was getting completely overloaded. From what i know the game purposefully makes itself look all fuzzy and overall less detailed and sharp in order to let the game run with overloaded VRAM. The GTX 1070 has 8GB of GDDR5, however with me having the same amount of VRAM only with GDDR6, i've seen the same weird fuzzy look on The Isle. The textures don't look sharp, everything has this very subtle but still noticeable grainy look to it, and overall just isn't the prettiest to look at. Unfortunately, i don't think The Isle has some form of VRAM counter to check if my VRAM is being overloaded or not. It would be insanely nice to have a feature like that present.

In your windows search bar, type in cmd and right click command prompt and open as administrator.
In command prompt, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes. Wait for scan to complete. (Restart your PC afterward)
Press "Windows key + r", then type in %localappdata%
Manually delete "TheIsle" folder

Other things:

In steam, right-click The Isle, and go to properties.
In launch options, add in "-high" "-USEALLAVAILABLECORES" without quotes.
Once you boot the game, try running the game in windowed mode (borderless fullscreen).

I spawned in center, i'm in a heavily forested area and with graphics cranked up to the max, RT enabled and DLSS disabled, i'm reaching 95-100% GPU utilization and around 70 FPS stable

If you are experiencing issues with your controls and graphic settings since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, Night Vision not working , graphic settings not showing properly , etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
8. Restart the game. The issue should be fixed.

Hey guys, my friend has some technical issues. He has a laptop with a intel i5-1035g1, which should support DX12, yet he gets the "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." error when trying to play evrima. I already made him update the drivers, but it still gives the same message
