For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

It has also been known to be caused by strict permissions with a Windows User Account and/or strict Anti-Virus settings

Please reduce what Windows and/or Anti-virus will block as far as programs go. You may need to create a new Windows User account to bypass the issue.

-If the above fails, make sure your GPU/GFX Drivers are updated. If you already updated them, uninstall them and reinstall them if the issue persists.

I was having issues with this, too! I get it by sorting by names and by players. Yesterday worked fine. I wonder if it is something to do with how long it takes to process it since sorting by name and players seem to make it think super hard vs sorting by ping which it does much easier

Having a small issue. Before the patch (recent one that maybe launched at around 6 AM or near 6 AM EST), I was running Anti-Cheat fine. But now whenever I try to log on to a server, no matter any server, It says "Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (0x2200). You have been disconnected."

I already had this same error the previous week and I had solve it (after 4 hours of work on it... so I'm a little on nerve now). Hmm. im not too sure, i'd wait to see if someone else can help and deal with it for now. the only other option i could say is just restart your whole computer and verify files.. restarting game might work, but i always suggest restarting the computer because it can potentially fix a lot of error

that might be a ping issue, I'd suggest testing it on a lower ping server, or maybe an unofficial as the official servers are under a lot of stress currently, and you may have some oddities occur

server is full even if the browser says otherwise. the browser has a hard time keeping up, especially with all the players currently trying to use it. I'd reccomend just being persistant, or moving to an unofficial server. There are around 11,000 people currently trying to get into The Isle servers, the more we spread out, the better it will be for everyone

So, I downloaded the latest update of Windows (11), restarted my computer and... nothing. I deleted the EAT folder on The Isle installation folder, then verify the files again to re-add them, then click on "EAT setup" on The Isle installation folder, then reload the game again and... nothing. Great!

Do I have to uninstall/reinstall the whole game again?

I have run the game both from files and steam many times. When I run on steam, it gives me the error "Failure: app running" and when I run it in the files it starts up twice (for some reason) before I get the error message "maximum simultaneous game instances reached!" and it crashes both instances of the game. Ok, my problem is apparently fixed again. I proceded like this (very weird):

• Open The Isle Folder and Run "EasyAntiCheat.bat" as administrator
• Then go to the EAT folder above and run the EAT Setup.
• Close completely Steam, then reload it.
• Run the game
