It's not a problem to solve. The game needs a fairly modern dedicated graphics card to run now, because it's been migrated to a newer engine (Unreal Engine 5). The devs said there will not be any more support for DX11 and therefore integrated graphics.

Hey guys, having an issue getting Evrima to run on my girlfriend's machine, keeps saying that easy anti cheat isn't installed, tried the recommended steps, even reinstalled windows and reinstalled the game a good couple times, she can play the base game but not evrima

It's possible it has crashed, or it's restarting, or it's not visible in the server list. Keep refreshing until it shows up again.

They should get a system that meets The Isle's minimum requirements. However, the Steam page hasn't been updated in a while, so even if the minimum requirements there are a good place to start, they're not to be trusted entirely.
Generally speaking, you need a dedicated graphics card that supports feature level 12_0 and higher. For future-proofing, I'd recommend a card that supports feature level 12_2.

okay so ive been having some major issues with the main menu in this game, 1 if i tab out at any point while launching the game it completely freezes in a black screen and says its loading but never actually loads. 2 when i try to get on server it says "connecting" and takes up to 5 minutes sometimes to do something and then i ussually get the server full or lost connection to host message.

Make sure your graphics drivers and Windows are up-to-date. You can check your graphics driver version by right-clicking on the task bar > Task manager > More details > Performance > GPU. If you have two GPU, it's GPU 1 you have to look at. Scroll a bit and below it'll be written the driver version and date. If the date is a couple of months or years old, they're not up-to-date.

DX12 problem

I’ve already seen a few messages here, but all the suggestions there were didn’t work. My game works fine, but my friend has trouble. What I know is:

1. He has GeForce GTX 1050 which supports DirectX12;
2. He has Windows 10 and all the updates seem to be installed;
3. He tried downloading graphic drivers from the official website AND from GeForce Experience app;
4. He tried to launch the game with and without the launch commands (I forgot which ones they were exactly, but they were mentioned here);
5. He reinstalled the game and checked the files;
6. We checked the “dxdiag” thing, Dx12 is there;
7. He didn’t delete the config file, but I don’t know if it has to to with anything, since he hadn’t launched the game before;

On this channel there was a message that I can’t find anymore, where you’re supposed to go to your graphic card settings and find the game in the files somewhere? I can’t find it so idk how it works exactly.
My guess is, the game somehow doesn’t detect/register that all the drivers are installed and Dx12 already works.

Any ideas/chances a patch will fix this? Maybe he should update some other drivers?

• in the windows search bar search the following - %localappdata%
• find theisle folder
• simply delete the saved inside the theisle folder itself and then relaunch the game
  (Side note that this will remove all skins you have made and reset the keybinds and other settings)

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

It has also been known to be caused by strict permissions with a Windows User Account and/or strict Anti-Virus settings

Please reduce what Windows and/or Anti-virus will block as far as programs go. You may need to create a new Windows User account to bypass the issue.

Try pressing ALT on both ALT GR and LALT when in game, could be a glitch with alt tabbing out of the game. Re bind ALT biting and see if it helps

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

It has also been known to be caused by strict permissions with a Windows User Account and/or strict Anti-Virus settings

Please reduce what Windows and/or Anti-virus will block as far as programs go. You may need to create a new Windows User account to bypass the issue.

-If the above fails, make sure your GPU/GFX Drivers are updated. If you already updated them, uninstall them and reinstall them if the issue persists.
