What worked for me was downloading VR chat and then launch it. It uses easy anti cheat and then joining The isle. It actually works.
VR chat is free.

It's just strange that it wouldn't affect everyone

check the pinned comment about the issue, but if you don't have the "EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. " file like I and many others had then you can yoink it from another games files that uses it. I used VRchat since its free and small download size while still being on steam.

Take that EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup file from Vrchat, place it into the isles folder and EasyAntiCheat folder (I did both just to be sure) and then right click "InstallAntiCheat" and then "run as administration" - should run, nothing appears to happen, try to boot the isle and it worked for me.

I am reading that you can just boot up VRchat and that works too lol but this long method worked for me

not sure, but i'm pretty sure if i were to switch out my 3060 with my 1060 i would still be able to run evrima xD just on low settings, do keep in mind i have the 6gb 1060 which would probably explain it since i have friends who has been having issues with games due to not having enough vram, also if u guys don't have enough ram on ur pc that might also cause issues

well like we basically concluded since a 1060 can barely run evrima u would be having a hard time running it with a 1050, u should buy urself a new gpu

well i'm currently running a 3060 factory oc v2 and i had issues with other games before crashing and so on, after getting the 3060 nada issues, i do have the 12 gb vram though, but it would totally help a lot getting a 3060 😉

there's not really that big for a difference between then 3060 and the 3060ti, basically the ti version has a slightly bigger cooling rib so it runs like 2-3°C lower than the 3060...i would not buy the ti version just because of a slightly bigger cooling rib

you want to focus on updating your graphics adapter but for that you should go to the vendor (usually AMD, NVIDIA or Intel) directly and not through device manager. But device manager will help you identify what you have and which vendor to go to.

When I first joined the isle evrima after this update, everything was going good. I joined a server as beipei. Then I decided to try playing as troodon, so I left the server to play as it somewhere else on different server. Then problems started. Like normally, even tho it said server is full even tho it had 93 people playing, but then after it looked like i almost joined, it kicked me out of the game without any sord of warning or anything. Any tips?

basically u could try this: ight click The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > browse local files > open TheIsle folder and delete your "Saved folder" i have not had this issue so i have no clue if it helps, but give it a try
