It's normal for the config folder to come back. The purpose of deleting it is just because it had UE4 stuff in it, which conflicts with the new update being on UE5, so you only need to delete it once.

so, i'm getting the easy anti-cheat bug. I've tried deleting and verifying files. I've ran the easy anti-cheat bat file 4x. I even uninstall/reinstall. What's ironic is it says anti-cheat is not installed but I know it is because I can launch Path of Titans without any errors. What do I do now?

Addendum: I fixed it. By ironically pulling the .exe for anti-cheat from the Path of Titans folder and dropping a copy into the Isle folder. Ran the .bat and it finally loaded. Weird.

Hello! I don’t suppose there’s an easy fix for the error message on launch: DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument? I have checked that direct x is updated and I have version 12. Tried deleting the saved folder in local app data.

Hi there, I rlly have a problem with the Isle and I hope someone knows how to fix it.

I can start into a server where I already have a dino in, with no preoblems. I can play, move, etc...without problems.
But as soon as I am in the "dino selecting menu" I get into errors. I can move in teh menu8 freely but my screen will freeze as soon as I click the green button when I have chosen the dino I wanna play.

This happend now 4 times, I selected diffrent dinos and diffrent genders but the problem stays.

I need help!! I tried logging into the stress test and never connected to a server. Now I am trying to simply go back to evrima (have been trying for the past couple of days now). When I try to start the game everything seems to go well right to just before the main menu and then it shuts my computer down. I then have to unplug my power supply for about half a minute and then plug it back in to start my computer back up. I have tried deleting the Save folder in the %localappdata% process. Got the same result. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and verifying the game files. Still same results. What do I do now?

Hey @odd nebula I didn't send you the screenshot because I accidentally found the solution to my problem myself when I got back from work and hopped on the isle for a minute. I had antyaliasing disabled because I don't like it, and I had this weird blurry screen, but when I turned antyaliasing on (dlss) it fixed itself and the game actually looks better, idk how it works but it works lol

At this point you need to troubleshoot beyond the game's limits, because it's not normal for your PC to crash and have trouble restarting. Try also with other games/programs to see if you have the same problems. Monitor your hardware's temperatures when you launch the game. Check for errors and explanations on why it crashed by right-clicking on the Windows icon > Event viewer. If it shows errors, google them and do the fixes that are recommended.

You seem to be several to have this issue. I assume that it's due to compatibility issues between Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5. Normally, this is typically fixed by deleting the Saved folder. In worst cases, by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Since it hasn't fixed that for you, I see two options here: you either wait for the update to drop, since it's on Unreal Engine 5 it should work without issues; or you contact Punchpacket and explain to him your issue. Be very clear that it's not fixed by deleting the Saved folder and uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Try this:
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata%, hit enter. In The Isle folder, go to Saved > Config > WindowsClient > open ”GameUserSettings” with the note pad or any other editor.
Modify the marked lines on the screenshot to make sure it corresponds to your monitor's recommended resolution.
Save your changes, exit, restart your PC and try to launch the game again.

Since I switched back to normal Evrima from TS , even tho Ive delete Saved several times - Everytime i try to join a server (if its full and u get the "Server is full") after i try 2-3 times , game crashes to Desktop. That never was an issue before. I even reinstalled game and deleted Saved folder again , still does it. Any tips?

The Isle has always been advertised as needing a dedicated graphics card to run properly, I'm surprised you were able to run it on integrated graphics at all ahah!

You may need to ask an admin to teleport you to them. For that, go in your server's right channel (#evrima-eu, #evrima-na, etc.), ping the server admin role and give them what exact server you are on.

You can't run DX12 properly with integrated graphics. I'm sorry, but without a dedicated graphic card you will not be able to play Update 6.5. It uses Unreal Engine 5 features that require to fully support DX12, which only fairly modern dedicated graphics cards do.

The Isle has always been advertised as needing a dedicated graphics card to run, you weren't really supposed to run it on integrated graphics. So if you want to continue playing TI, you need a system that actually meets TI's requirements. Right now the steam page is rather obsolete, but any fairly modern gaming rig will do the job.
