Issue: I'm on the Evrima branch of isle (not the testing branch) and everytime I go to play, I load in a server and get to dinosaur selection. Everything is perfectly fine until I hit "Confirm" to go to the coloring phase/section, and then for some reason it freezes and takes several minutes to close? ALTf4 doesn't even get me out and a few times I had to turn off my pc entirely just to get off the frozen screen.

Solutions: So far I've tried a few things hoping it would help, restarted my pc entirely (several times), I deleted my config folder (usually when I have a isle issue its the config folder that fixes it), verified the games files, and then when none of that worked I uninstalled and reinstalled the game entirely.

Still having the same issue, its been going on for a day. I never had this problem (Others are too appearantly?) and Isle worked 100% fine until I swapped to the Hoarde branch & then back to evrima. Tried swapping several times. IF ANYONE CAN HELP @ OR REPLY, THANK YOU.

1. Go to C:\Users[your_Windows_user_name]\AppData\Local\Prospect\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

2. You'll need to enable hidden files to see the AppData folder, or you can simply paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\Prospect\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ into Explorer's file path field and press Enter to get there.

3. Open the file

4. GameUserSettings.ini with Notepad or any other editor.

5. Find the string m_enableDX12=True and delete it.

6. Save your changes.

Run the game again

You could try deleting your download cache and see if that helps:

• Go to Steam -> Steam Settings
• Downloads
• click [Clear Cache]

You have to delete the entire Saved folder, not just the Config one:
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Delete the Saved folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings and skins.)

Your FPS seem to be on par with your system specs. Consider upgrading, a GTX 1050ti and a 8th gen i5 are getting pretty old. Evrima is a modern game with a lot of very modern features, you want your hardware to keep the pace for the best experience. :)

Deleting your Config folder does help with performance, no need to delete the entire Saved one. But depending on your specs, there's only so many FPS to gain. Try leaving the spawn areas and the hotspots since those are clogged with corpses and other players. If your FPS are still bad, then it's an issue due to your hardware.

This is normal, it's because you have high ping, and you have high ping because the servers are under pressure (which is the goal of opening the ST to the public, to test how the servers are doing under stress).

It shouldn't be necessary at all. Just that when you uninstall steam, it also uninstall all of your games, so when you reinstall it, it's going to install your games. You can stop the automatic updates/install and just install the games you need

Find another game on steam, preferably free, that uses EAC. Install said game. When it's done, when you open it, there should be an ”Install & repair Easy Anti-Cheat”. Choose that. It will install Easy Anti-Cheat on your PC.
So far I don't know of a free game that uses EAC.
You can always DM Punchpacket. I assume he can directly send you the install files for EAC, or something else that could greatly you.

It's not an error so I don't see why the devs can do about it. The game now uses features that aren't compatible with integrated graphics/very old GPU. :/ Maybe they will do something to have the game be able to run on DX11, but Hacker thinks it's unlikely.

There's on top of that a problem with Geforce Experience not showing the latest drivers available, so yeah, make sure to ask them a screenshot so you can clearly see what driver version they have

If so, there’s been some issues with the EAC files not properly downloading from steam, so you have to download another EAC game or public Evrima version and copy paste that version to the stress test version

If you’re joining the ST server, EAC has been randomly kicking and not allowing users to join because of the server stress. Just try again.

Uhh I've been scouring the internet for a solution to this and tried several different bug fixes from the devs but can't seem to make any progress. No matter what servers I try to join, I end up booted back to the main menu within 2-3 seconds max. Anticheat also says to use the 32bit version of the game, not sure if it's related at all. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, deleted caches/files/folders, verified file integrity, whitelisted in firewall, can't find anything online about it though

I'm having this weird bug with The Isle where my dino seems to be moving all on it's own in a different direction than straight forward. I recently tried swapping over to the stress test to try out the new dinos but I couldn't get it to work, so I swapped back to regular Evrima

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Alternatively, delete the entire Saved folder

Heya, I'm having an issue with the EasyAntiCheat that's automatically installed with the stress test branch. The Anti-cheat setup exe file is missing and I'm having trouble trying to get the branch to properly install with all of the files. Steam verification doesn't seem to help. Is there a solution for this?

Question (problem switching back stresstest to evrima).

I've been enjoying and playing 6.5 StressTest for 2 days but now was done with the lag, rubberbanding and the constant full servers no acces.

So switched back to EVRIMA.
Now my game's broken, everytime i start The Isle, join server then select creature it instantly freezes and have to force shotdown. tryd a couple of times now.

Right-click on the Windows icon > Windows PowerShell (admin) > Type those commands in. Hit enter after each one, very important.
