Steps:

Go to: "Virus & Threat Protection" in Windows

Hey! Also had a DX12 issue. Geforce Experience was the problem with the Driver (I had to uninstall the program and go to the Nvidia website to personally download the latest driver version for my card) Once I updated the driver, I reinstalled the Geforce experience and instantly I was able to get into the ST branch.

@tiny kiln If you don't know which Graphics card you have specifically, double check by looking at your NVIDIA Control Panel (it'll be in the GREEN BOX) Go to the Nvidia Website and punch int he details to download the latest drivers.

Geforce Experience App was literally the issue with NOT installing the latest drivers and preventing any new ones. It worked for me, my sister and our friend - all had the same issue and all of us had difference Nvidia graphuics cards.

If you're encountering freezing issues after swapping back to the EVRIMA branch, you'll need to delete your Saved folder to do so. As you're attempting to play on the previous UE4 version with data from the UE5 one, hence the freeze/crash.

If you don't know what graphics card you have: right-click on your task bar > Task manager > More details > Performance > GPU. In the upper right corner, what GPU you have will be written.
If you don't know if your graphics card supports DX12, google it. Make also sure your Windows is up-to-date.

Once your drivers are updated, uninstall and reinstall The Isle.

If it still doesn't work after you checked all of that, make sure you have a dedicated graphics card. Integrated graphics (i.e. graphics provided by your processor) will not work with DX12, even if your system shows you have it. You can have it installed on your system even if you don't have the hardware to run it.

In case you have both integrated graphics and a dedicated graphics card, make sure The Isle is configured to use your dedicated graphics card. To do that:
Go in Windows settings > System > Display > scroll down and click on ”Graphic settings” > under ”Graphic performance preferences”, click on ”Browse”. Are you playing on the public ST branch ? then there likely isn't any stuck assistance ): sorry.
If you're playing on public 6.0, you can try the following:

If you're stuck next to a Tree, you can try logging out, log back in and then try to move away from your position.

Else you can try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Tell them your in-game name + your specific server, so they can unstuck you.

Though all Official server admins are volunteers, and might not always be available!
If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and try again later.

You could try this maybe:

1. go to "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS" and delete the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys file.
   If you don't see the ending .sys, it's just the file which doesn't have the blue bear as a symbol
   (see first picture)

2. For the second step do this:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder

3. Then verify your game files over steam:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Veify integrity of game files

4. After that, you go back to the game folder and use the batch files, it's like in the fixes you already tried:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• double click these two files, in the order of picture 2. A terminal might pop up for a second, but else nothing visible will happen.

The player-count can't keep up with the amount of players joining, disconnecting and crashing. Therefore, the number displayed is false. The servers are full.
A server with an unusually low player count is also the sign of a crashing or restarting server. Or it's NA1 and it's occupied by the devs.

Hey hey! A friend of mine tried these techniques and nothing has been working for them
When they tried updating their graphic driver it said that it was "up to date". Do you have any other alternatives by any chance?

They have to make sure Windows is up-to-date, that's critical for DX12 to work properly.

Sounds like you need to power cycle you're computer/ Restart it. This happens sometimes if you've missed tan update, or you're computer has been running with shutting down for too long, like when you pull an all nighter

Alright I do apologize if this is a wall of text. I have spent some time trying to troubleshoot it myself so ill explain what steps ive done.

I am attempting to play the game for the first time. It will load thru the Easy Anticheat and then a rectangular shaped "load screen" will appear with "The Isle" image on it. It never makes it past that point sadly. Inspecting the task manager it does show activity as if its trying to start, but never progresses further.

I have done a complete uninstall twice. Multiple verifying file integrity to fix possible anticheat issues. Adjusted firewall settings for the game, multiple PC restarts, updated graphics drivers, and im sure afew things ive forgotten lol. Ive been at this for 2 hours now. Any advice on how to get this game to load?

Hi I just downloaded this game and every time I try and join a server it loads for a bit then says "Connection Failed Anti-Cheat Integrity Check Failed (0x2200)" I have tried going into Steam and checking the Files Integrity but no matter what it keeps saying that message.

Honestly, I'm shooting from the hip here, if its not you're computer's internal processing then its to do with you're connection to the Steam seervers, if its only steam that is.

From this, I can think of two possibilities

1. You have too much junk files cluttering you're computer's memory, slowing it down.
2. You're computer's just old or needs new parts, RAM, GPU/CPU, etc.
   Could also be that the Motherboard's getting old and needs replacing.

Stress test servers are notoriously unstable at the best of times, especially with over a hundred people connecting and trying to connect at once, its just you're connection to the Dev's servers, that's all. Keep trying and you'll get in eventually

Once deleted, you’ll have to start the game. It will create a new game with the proper settings

The old one messes it up, because it’s ue4 settings as opposed to ue5 ones
