This might be a bug and better fit for a different channel but I was playing a Pachy last night and got into a skirmish with a Carno. I landed a head butt against it but then my character would not move. I could tab and move my camera but my dino wouldn't move. Because of this I was easy pickings and died shortly after.. safe to say I was pretty upset by the bug or glitch or whatever. Has anyone else experienced this? It happened the first time when I was playing a Dryo and just running around. I was able to log out bd back in but I can't really do that if I'm in another skirmish.

If you cant find a server, try filtering unofficial and searching official. this will more often than not show the server, either that. or try refreshing a few times. if you are still having issues finding it. try restarting your game. i promise you it's there, it's just really good at hiding at times

Im guessing you were not a FG pachy fighting a maybe FG carno. As a pachy there is a known bug that if you headbutt something too large it "perma" stuns you (instead of a short duration stun) the easiest way to fix this is to look straight down and bonk like you're trying to open a coconut. Althought if it happens in a fight you are probably dead either way

This is a known bug, unfortunately theres no known fix, youll just have to redo your graphics every time you attempt to join a server

Try deleting your Config, that resets all your graphic settings and your custom keybinds.
I'd recommand taking a screenshot of your Settings before doing that, so you can restore them if something changes.

1.) If running The Isle, exit the game.
2.) Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3.) Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4.) Find the TheIsle folder. Open it.
5.) Open the Saved folder
6.) Delete the Config folder

The Docs sadly are outdated, yeah.
The issue you're describing is a new one with update 6.0, there is no know fix for it yet from what I know ):
Hopefully the next update 6.5 will fix this issue.

I click a server to log in (any official or unofficial server), get the dino select screen, and then when I click any species and then hit confirm, it completely freezes and then crashes before I can get to the skin selection screen. No fatal error messages or anything.

Ever since up6 came out ive been experiencing some ping problems. randomly it sjumps from 53 to 510 or close to that ping which makes it near impossible to play. it typically stays on that ping for about 10-20 minutes where as the lower ping i run for about 2-7 min. ive tried googling the problem but all i could find was "get an ethernet cable" which i find dumb as my friends do not have one, while not dealing with the ping problems. at the start i was just told it was cause of the servers just having been set up. but with it still happening now im beginning to question that. anyone know how to solve it?

hmm, if you tried all 3 methods already, then maybe do this:

1. go to "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS" and delete the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys file.
   If you don't see the ending .sys, it's just the file which doesn't have the blue bear as a symbol
   (see first picture)

2. For the second step do this:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder

3. Then verify your game files over steam:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Veify integrity of game files

4. After that, you go back to the game folder and use the batch files, it's like in the fixes you already tried:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• double click these two files, in the order of picture 2. A terminal might pop up for a second, but else nothing visible will happen.
  And again, it doesn't matter if you see the .bat

5.) Now see if that fixed it

Do you have an Anti-Virus Program ? If you do, make sure it's not blocking the game.
You should be able to add an exclusion for the "The Isle" steam game folder
(I mean the folder under:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files)

Else you could also try adding an exclusion to your windows Firewall, this post should explain it well:

At some places in center, SE and north west grasslands its chill. It seems the further i get away from SW the better it gets. But again. It happens everywhere. Just more chill soem places

If theres 1 space open and 2 ppl click on the server at the same time it doesent disconnect one but lets them both in. Meaning theres 101/100 now. Since it cant say that it resets it so that whne the server is at 101 it will say 100 in the select aerver screen. Wich is why it can say 99/100 and u cant join since its still 100/100. On islander yesterday this stacked all the way up to 10 over the limit

Let me do it right. I fudged it

Navigate to your EasyAntCheat Folder within TheIsle's installation folder.

Once there, verify that "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup" is there. If it does not exist, find someone on the same version/branch of the game that you are in and have them send it to you. Put it in there.

Once it is, click the top of the bar and type CMD like this:

Hit enter, and the CMD window should pop up with this:

Paste this in and hit enter again: .\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install a4a57ff548934dbeba0cc7c62cdf9f34

Windows will ask you for permission to run it, just hit yes. It will close out in about a second.

Hello, I have tried to play Evirma many times trying different launch options such as "-safe" and presetting the resolution through Steam. The game will load up and I can hear sound and see the initial loading screen. When it finishes launching and hits the Main Menu my main monitor goes black and is searching for display input. When I tab out of the game I can see the main menu and it looks fine. When I enter back in it repeats the display issues. That issue also minimises other applications on my second display as well as temporarily changes the resolution of my Wallpaper Engine until I tab back out to another application. If I launch Evirma with no other programs running I get stuck in a loop that only allows me to take control back by hard shutting down.
I have had other issues like this with other games that were fixed by manually setting the resolution so I'm unsure where to go from here.

Usually it’s outdated graphics that cause that issues, along with poor graphics cards and corrupted files. If i understand correctly, you crashed, and when you tried to rejoin you no longer had a dino. if thats the case, it is an OCCASIONAL bug where the server (seemingly) fails to load your player info, you can Alt F4 and rejoin and should have your dino back. if you dont afterwards, im not too sure what could of caused it. if you've allready spawned in, unfortunately yer dino is probably just gone

you can also uninstall your graphics card drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) from Guru3D I have a good tutorial I sent somebody else. then reinstall them from whatever your gpu is from if it's nvidia install the correct nvidia drivers if it's amd etc.

Sadly that is currently not possible ):
It's a problem with Evrima being a Beta-branch, and not the main game on Steam.
It might/should get fixed when Evrima eventually becomes the Main-branch, but it currently is unknown when that will happen.

I'm having some trouble with courting. I have tried multiple fixes like deleting the save file and the config file, verifying game integrity, and reinstalling Evrima completely. The nest button is in my settings, but the animation won't play. Does anyone know what it could be?

make sure you're both standing close to one another, facing eachother, and maybe try on flat ground. sometimes its weird. also while the servers restart, have the both of you restart your games completely and make sure you are 100% pressing the right keybind

hey, any tips on getting more fps? my pc is fairly outdated but theres no real reason for this to run like it is, i just finished playing re4r on medium just fine and this game can barely mantain 30 fps

This game struggles on the FPS department as it is, but things you can try are.

1. Lowering Graphics (i wouldnt suggest lowering antialiasing)
2. Updating drivers
3. Closing unneeded background programs
4. Lowering the render scale

Hopefully something there will help

Start by running the isle in admin or setting it to run as an admin. You should also check for any windows updates

Same with your gpu and drivers

You don’t need to usually no, but doing so would possibly fix that error. (0xc000142) is usually corrupted/outdated software or improper authorization that causes the application to fail.

then windows will scan for corrupted system files

and repair them hopefully

and if it can't repair them you will need to manually repair them

I hope this is the right place to report this but if not I’m sorry. My daughter plays this game a lot but has recently been unable to. Starting about Tuesday when she goes to play in either the beta or in the legacy mode, the anti cheat screen loads and then the Unreal Engine flashes, but then she gets a completely black screen. She says on legacy she can still hear sound but can’t do anything and the beta doesn’t even have sound. I’ve tried everything I found on YouTube and Reddit including uninstalling/reinstalling the game and Steam but nothing has helped. Anyone have any ideas?

Starting by hitting F11, sometimes the game is in full screen and doesn’t render (and vice versa). It could be a graphics issue, you may want to check for any graphics cards or driver updates and ensure you meet the minimum requirements.

you can try deleting your config. that might help the issue. also make sure not to change antialisasing off of epic, and also check to see if our render is at 100%

This is a normal bug, re logging is the only fix, it seems to happen less when you dont eat on land

@lofty jacinth change dlss to balanced, set fps limit to 90 or whatever your monitor refresh rate is, change anti aliasing taa to none and there you go, you'll see a huge boost in performance

if you start to get stutters then turn on a fps overlay in steam or in nvidia shadowplay and then cap your fps at the most consistent number so for example if I get 100-120 but will uncommonly drop to near 90 I cap it at 90 so no fps stutters

if you get 80-90 fps average cap it at 70 or something like that

it will reduce nearly all the stuttering but will still get one atleast in certain areas
