Hey when ever I change my graphics options and join a server they reset in a way, the options still are the same it just looks different in the menu, yet when I leave and rejoin the server it has the options that it reseted to.

Uh, its not urgent as it appears this update may have broken a lot of things but some additional information about the stuck splash screen. I get stuck on the Isle Splash Screen I have done all the pinned steps in this channel from Krow to no avail an interesting tidbit is I get an application error of 0xc0000142 which is apparently an error related to missing file needed to run the bat file. Despite having verified steam files and reinstalled twice. I triple checked windows updates and GPU Drivers as well.

you are right. my pc is not powerful - i7 8750U GTX 1050 (4gb VRAM) and 32gb RAM. my game stable running but i have only 20-30 fps on minimal graphic settings. but i can set graphics to medium or high and this will lower my fps by only 3-4 frames. from this we can conclude that the problem is in the optimization of the game and not in the weakness of the PC. i have noticed for a long time that the game sees almost no difference between weak and powerful PCs

Honestly I'm not sure if this fixes your problem, you are probs better off waiting for or asking an admin. But if you have nothing to loose and you want to try, right click on " The isle" application on your local drive in steam apps. Click properties, compatibility, run this program in compatibility mode and try a different version of Windows. Also check the run this program as administrator.

hm, then Try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat.sys"(maybe "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" for you) file.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

I do agree anti-cheat sucks...But much like adobe is industry leader in creative-multi media apps the same is true for Easy-Anti cheat in its industry. My biggest gripe with EA is you cannot run two instances for different games.

2. Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")

Whenever I launch the game my PC crashes. No BSoD, the screen just goes black and my PC restarts

Evrima is causing a lot of wonky weird discord call distortions whenever I try to play while in a call with a friend, I can hear them just fine but they only get maybe once every 5 sentences through and I sound robotic and broken. It's totally fine without evrima

i just fixed this actually. do you have VR? i just opened task manager and ended all VR tasks, which was all oculus stuff running in the BG. relaunched the game and it works

So im not sure if I have to do anything specific, but I played evirma with a lower quality to the game cause my GPU isn't the greatest at running the game at the top quality, but after this update, even if I try to switch to a lower quality so i can play the game properly, it will show that I switch the graphic settings but nothing about the display will change, as well as I keep crashing every 5-10 minutes after starting up the game, sometimes barely being able to get through the dino customization screen. Is there any potential solutions to this? Or do I just need to get a better GPU before i can play the game again?

Sadly there currently is a visual bug that displays the population wrong ): so even if says like 96/100, it actually is 100/100.
You just have to keep trying, you should get in after a few tries

I am having issues I have not played in a while and the new update came out and I put a friend on to this game. It got dark on the server and he has nightvision that he can turn on with the x key this does not work for me and I checked my key binding and it does not even show nightvision I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail any help would be great

Try doing this, it should fix it!
(it looks more complicated then it is, it's really easy! if you have any questions feel free to ask)

1.) If running The Isle, exit the game.
2.) Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3.) Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4.) Find the TheIsle folder. Open it.
5.) Open the Saved folder, and go into the Config folder.
6.) Open the WindowsClient folder.
7.) Delete the Input.ini file (for you it might be called Input)
8.) Restart the game.

I went left to beach, after that I wanted back to center and passed inadvertently the way where I was came from, so I went to Swamps.. I get back to the Y crotch, than I noticed it´s dried now..

So the left side to beach and the right side to swamps is still in water, but the way back is dried now.. that´s surely the way i was moving.

if you click on the coordinates in your in-game menu, they are automatically copied.

I've had this persistent issue for awhile now and I can't find a solution to it anywhere. Not sure where to ask about this either as it affects both Evrima and Legacy. For whatever reason, Steam seems to think there's a workshop update for either version. Obviously that's not possible since the workshop hasn't existed for some time. The PC I have wasn't around during that time, so it can't be an old mod file hidden somewhere. If I try to cancel it so it won't download anything, it won't disappear off the download/update list. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?
I've switched back and forth between the two versions, doing an uninstall and fresh reinstall of both, cleared Steam's cache which does seem to fix it until I launch the game, and I've deleted all folders and files I could find relating to the game. Even after reinstalling Steam, it rears its ugly head as soon as I try to launch the game. At the moment I have Evrima installed, but as I mentioned before, it'll appear on either version.

hmm, you could try a manual reinstall.

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
It will however delete the Skins you have saved to presets, so you might want to save those first.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

It has also been known to be caused by strict permissions with a Windows User Account and/or strict Anti-Virus settings

Please reduce what Windows and/or Anti-virus will block as far as programs go. You may need to create a new Windows User account to bypass the issue.

That's an bug that can happen if you're local language uses symbols that can't be shown by the game ): typical arabic or asian ones.
Try doing this, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Any chance to have more servers?
Really, lot of times is impossible to play cause lot of players trying to connect various servers. Queue works only if on server search page you can see 100/100 player but this is very rare.
Servers can’t synchronize real players online in real time and most of times you still trying to connect waiting for some lucky “click” when some player logged out.
Really annoying, especially because all of us pay something to help development but to play also..
