Happens to me and friends in forests, carno charging or similiar circumstances

As a juvi pachy, while crossing some rivers i've gotten kicked with a couple of friends at the same time, its a gamble if we spawn back normally, as a juvi or in selection screen. I dont know if its associated with the same issue but the error is the same.

This is a very early version of a beta branch. Loss of progress, bugs, and crashes should be expected. I'm sorry you've lost your characters, but there's nothing that can be done about it currently. The devs are investigating the crashes and are looking for fixes

hello, I was having issues with crashing but I seem to have fixed it, now the game just wont load. I hit launch on steam, it does the whole EAC prompts, goes to the splash screen but just hangs there. Like everything says it's running but it just wont load

If you don't see any servers then, try adding a firewall exlusion for the Isle.
That works generally like this for win10:
"Choose Start > Control Panel. Click Security, and then in the Windows Firewall section, click Allow A Program Through Windows Firewall. Click Add Program on the Exceptions tab"

Im just gonna point out the issue yet another time regarding the bug from a ram of a carno. "Sometimes", you will end up getting kicked from the game when you just started a ram. It doesnt happen a lot, but enough to make it a death problem. It just throws you back to the main page of the game, with no error box or explanation on what happened. Is it something that is being worked on yet ? Last time i stated this, i got the answer that it was nothing you were aware of.

I was just about to say to come here but I see you have posted about it. Try reinstalling EasyAntiCheat and if that doesn’t work, you’ll likely need to reinstall the game. Can also try restarting your PC/laptop, sometimes that does the trick.

That’s definitely above the minimum and recommended. Usually that 0xc0000005 error occurs when windows can’t find the correct path or files to run the software. This can be caused by bad ram, malware, and antivirus programs.

Hello! I had to uninstall and reinstall for night vision, I just now loaded in and I can't click on anything on the main menu screen I've validated local files, closed the game through task manager and restarted steam but not sure what to do.

The Fatal Errors are mainly caused from Deino Lung, and Bucking.
The Devs are aware of it and trying to fix it as fast as possible!

Hm ): I'm not sure what could be causing that, I can think of 2 thinks for you to try.

1.) Add a firewall exclusion for the whole "TheIsle" folder from steam, because it might be blocking the game.
For windows10 that's genereally done like this, but there are many online tutorials too

"Choose Start > Control Panel. Click Security, and then in the Windows Firewall section, click Allow A Program Through Windows Firewall. Click Add Program on the Exceptions tab"

2.) Try around with your Steam settings

• Open Steam
• Select “STEAM” on the upper left corner
• Go to Settings > in-game
• Increase the “In-Game Server Browser: Max Pings / minute” value and see if it helps

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

As far as the black screen/loading issues go. The only answer so far is that it might be fixable by editing your Nvidia 3D Settings control panel.

hm, there are a few things you can try! Try these ideas first:

1.) un-and re-install your EAC

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• double-click the "UninstallAntiCheat.bat" (it might not have the .bat at the end for you)
• double-click the "InstallAntiCheat.bat" (it might not have the .bat at the end for you)
• double-click the "TheIsle.exe", see if this fixed the issue.

2.) Manually uninstall EAC

⚠️ idk if anyone is still experiencing this problem when they load into a server but if you are go into ur settings, graphics and set ur fps limit to 1fps, leave for a few minutes (or until map loads in) and put your fps limit back to 60-90fps (or whatever ur pc can handle)

For those still having issues with the black screen issue when you open up Evrima, I've been working with Nvidia support and I managed to fix my problems.
I thought I'd share what I did.

Minor disclaimer. NGL not all of this may be relevant or help as obviously not all computer issues are the same though they may all end in an endless black screen. I solve all my tech issues through trial and error and I can't figure out exactly which solution solved my problem so I'll include everything.

I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070. I also have an Intel HD Graphics 530, I disabled that as having that also enabled can cause conflicts and issues and made sure my monitors were linked to the GTx.

Possible Solution
I made sure the drivers were updated. Specifically, I was instructed to do a CLEAN INSTALL of the version 516.94 geforce game ready driver.

I used the Nvidia control panel to go to Manage 3D Settings -- then program settings tab, add The Isle and turn Vertical Sync off and make sure Power Management is set to Maximum Performance. Apply. I went into Debug mode with Nvidia Control Panel to make sure it was running optimally and started the game with Geforce Experience.

It also may help to switch from Evrima to Legacy and then back again. When I first did the 3D settings, I realized that I had it set to Legacy first but the game was still able to start without an endless blackscreen. The loading did take a while but I knew it worked when I heard the game's audio after The Anticheat image and The Isle splash art disappeared when the game opened, even though the windowed screen was black like before. It took a few extra minutes (2-3) to show anything.

If this doesn't help I apologize, but I figure its better to be specific with what helped me than trying random vague instructions of just messing with the Nvidia Control panel until something sticks. Good luck.

however, if you wish to stop it, you can limit your fps to something low and it'll reduce gpu usage

Any one else experiencing issues with the Isle just closing when you're trying to log into the game? It closes before I can even choose a server lol I've deleted my save files as well as uninstall and reinstall the game lmao.....any ideas?

you can delete either one, but apparently deleting just the config is enough

though it might not be, and you might want to delete the saved folder in entirety just to get it over with

I need some help asap I just set the isle fps to 0 to see what would happen and now when I start the game it just crashes and then it will just stay on my screen forever. even the commands in windows and the task manager will not work I have to shut off or restart my pc. I watched a video on how to reset settings the isle and it told me to go into the browse local files on steam and then delete the isle folder so I did that and now I have to reinstall that folder

Try doing this, it should fix it!
(it looks more complicated then it is, it's really easy! if you have any questions feel free to ask)

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder, and go into the Config folder.
6. Open the WindowsClient folder.
7. Delete the "Input.ini" file (for it might be called "Input")
8. Restart the game. The issue should be fixed.

@rigid nexus looks like we found not a fix but a away to get past the "stuck in banner" issue ... first you have to wait till the game starts - after like 10min it goes into the black screen for like 15 min t- after that you can play the game and everything looks normal

Hi guys. Is there some kind of /unstuck command?

sadly not ): but try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

ah, EAC stands for "Easy-Anti-Cheat"

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder
• Then verify the integrity of your game files over steam

for some reason i'm having display troubles at night time. My brightness on my computer screen is maxed out but in the game it's still pitch black. I can't find anything within the game settings to fix this?

very strange for me. idk if anyone else has had this issue. Died to a pack of utahs-- which is fine-- but I couldn't see them so it was really a one sided battle lol
