So the isle has kind of stopped working for me when I try to launch it. It stays on the title screen for a long time and when it actually launches it’s a black screen. I’ve looked at the troubleshooting guide and tried launching it in windowed mode, but it didn’t help. I’ve verified a bunch and reinstalled, but I’m still having this issue.

Ok, I'm getting the Timed Out error trying to join a server. Not sure why. My game is updated, I've verified the files, even checked that my graphics card is up to date with latest drivers. Any ideas on what I can do? I was able to join servers just fine recently a few weeks back, so I'm not sure what's stopping me now.

Did you try to join multiple times ? o: sometimes it just appears when a server is full.
If the problem doesn't stop appearing, I'd try the following 4 things:

1.) First try to clear your download cache in steam, if that doesn't work..

2.) go to %localappdata%/TheIsle/Saved and delete the config folder, now try joining the game.

3.) if that didn't work either, you can try re-downloading the EAC:

• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder in the 'Steam -> steamapps -> common -> TheIsle' folder of steam
• Then verify the integrity of your game files over steam
• And then restart your PC.

4.) If that also doesn't work, try deleting the whole Saved folder in %localappdata%/TheIsle/Saved this will however delete your saved skins!

(also, if one of those helps, I'd appreciate if you can report that back, it helps! 😊 if none help I'm not sure if I can think of more >.< sorry)

You can try logging out, and then when logging back in while the world loads, move out of the stump.
if that doesn't work try pinging the "Official server admin" role in the correct sercer channel (so #evrima-na, #evrima-eu ....) and tell them your specific server + in-game name.
But I don't think any are online right now >.< since most of them are from america, if I'm not mistaken

Server restart happens in ~7 min, so maybe don't log out, if your water and food is okay.
if you get kicked by the server you usually get set back 15 min or so, so it might get you out!

I’ve been trying to get the isle to launch for a few days now, but In having some trouble. It’s taking an incredibly long time to open from that window with the Utah raptor, and when it does it’s normally a black screen. I’ve tried the -windowed mode fix from the doc, but that hasn’t worked. Neither has verifying the files or reinstalling the game. Any way to fix this?

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

• Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
• Properties
• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
• Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
• Return to Properties / Local Files
• Verify integrity of the game files.
  -----------------------------------3--------------------------------
  If none of those work

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

issue happens: After the first loading screen of the game

• Open Steam
• Right Click on The Isle and select Properties
• Go To Local Files
• At the Top Right select Browse
• On the first screen, Launch the Isle Application (launches the game)
• While that game is loading (it will freeze/error) go back to Steam
• Launch the game in Steam (you now have 2 isle games open at once)
• The steam version should now load normally.
• After 2 minutes you will get the error message (from the first Isle you opened) just exit that out and continue to play the game as normal. You will now only have 1 game of the isle open, and working normally.
• So far this is how I have to open the game every time if I want to play.

Since you were stuck on AU2, you would need to go to #evrima-au and ping the role.
Also tell them your in-game name + Specific server, so AU2

And yes I've tried multiple servers, and the servers all had room for more players.

Because of the "Ger" in your name I'll assume you're german ? there's a little bug at the moment that makes it so that some menu options are in your local language. So your settings probably look like this, right ?

Hey, so almost everyday, my game seems to revert itself back to legacy despite me never changing anything. I have no idea why it automatically turns off beta or something, but it's really annoying because it means I need to reinstall evrima every time I want to play it now, this was never an issue till now, does anyone have any fix?

Try adding an firewall exclusion! for windows 10:
"Choose Start > Control Panel. Click Security, and then in the Windows Firewall section, click Allow A Program Through Windows Firewall. Click Add Program on the Exceptions tab"

(if you're having trouble with adding the exclusion there are a lot of websites and tutorials that explain it!)

Hey guys. My english is not good, but I need help.

I play for 10-30 minutes and then I get the error message "Fatal Error" and all I can do is click OK to close the game. I followed all the instructions I could find here on the discord and on the internet to solve this problem.

This includes:

• Manual uninstall by deleting all folders from The Isle.

• Ordinary uninstall via Steam.

• Uninstalling the anti-cheat and then installing anti-cheat.

• Updating the graphics card driver. And the subsequent optimization of the game.

• Various graphic settings from epic to low.

• PC restart

• Check for Windows Update

I also did a PC test to see if my PC met the game's requirements. It sould work. And now I don't know what to do anymore. What else can I do to solve the problem.

Do you get any Error messages if you try to launch the game over EAC ?

• Go to your steam folder of "TheIsle" and first click "InstallAntiCheat.bat", nothing will happen, and then click "TheIsle.exe"
  (If the game launches, maybe see if you still get the fatal error ? I very much doubt it solved it >.< but like I said, I don't know what's causing it, so maybe try it)

Do you get an Error message if you launch the "TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe" ?

• In your steam folder of "TheIsle" go to "TheIsle -> Binaries -> Win64"

I noticed a pattern as playing carno. Sometimes, when i charge up a ram i will be kicked/disconnected from the server, which is quite unfortunately since the reason for the ram is to attack someone, and suddenly you get dc and will ofc be dead when you return. The old version, which still has more dinos but a lot less mechanics and stuff to do.
And Evrima, the version that's still getting updated with new stuff

That depends, you need to manually switch to Evrima, like this:

You can test both versions, and see which one you like more 😊 though Legacy does not get any more updates! it will stay like it is right now, until it will eventually be deleted.

Evrima will be continued to be updated though, of course!

Hi, Is there any bug or so with pachy's right click attack? Im stupidly dying every time cuz my right click doesnt respond, and its not my mouse I only have this with pachy :/
Somethimes I can spam right click, somethimes it doesnt work for whatever reason, or heads get up and stops right away. I even get teleported a little forward when I try to open coconut. Any ideas?

Well, here I am again.
Today and yesterday night I’ve been experiencing crashes, the first one being about “D3D” or something like that.
Today’s crashes shut down my whole computer and yet again I have no idea why it does that. Deleted the saved folder, made sure my computer was up to date. Nothing.

aw that's not a stupid question, don't worry!
If you're in/closer to Europe it's probably better for your ping to play on EU servers, since the servers are "closer" to you.
However the fps aren't really affected from that ):

Ping is basically the time it takes for your computer and the server to "talk" to each other, measured in milliseconds

For example, if you have 500 ping, it'll take 500ms (or .5 seconds) for a button you press to be recognized by the server

Lower ping is good, as it means the server takes less time to respond to the actions you make

As a Ptera and Utah you should try to avoid eating others of your species, else you'll get sick and have those exact symptoms.
Herbivores can get sick too when they eat Mushrooms, only Hypsis can eat those.

Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

It's a weird new bug from the latest hotfix ): sorry ,but I don't know a proper fix for it at the moment.
it helped someone to go in "Windowed fullscreen", so that might be worth a try if you don't already have that!

You dino was propably gone because it was killed ): if you get kicked, or just in generel don't safe log, your Dino remains in-game for 5 min

it's a bit late >.< but if you're stuck you'll want to ping the "Official server admin" role in #evrima-eu, and tell them your specific server(EU3, in your case) + your in-game name.

If you don't get a respons in a few min or if your Dino is low on Hunger/Water, it might be better to log out and wait for a respons.
