As for me, there is no need to give detailed information in such games. Yes, players can find all the information in other sources, but first they themselves will try to play, investigate the dinosaur, its behaviour, etc. It's much more interesting than giving mini-guides on how to play someone.

I have nothing against a different opinion.

it was mostly an attempt to curb the fact that isle as of now has no tutorial system (none, zero) and is attracting an influx of new players who have no idea what the basic controls are, much less the actual intricacies of the game mechanics

isle is fun once you know how to play, but for a new user who doesnt even know how to take off as a bird, and with the removal of global chat making it more difficult to quickly ask for help ingame, i figured a very simple interface that lays out the controls for each species as well as a short description is something of a necessity

notably i didnt add information about specific mechanics (like throwing up if you overeat) because i do think part of the game is discovering what you can and cant do

nor did i add that utah gets stunned if you run out of stam in a pounce, or if you get rammed into a tree... all tasty things a new player can discover thats not ruined by telling them the basic controls and abilities of the dinosaur they are choosing

just my two cents :P

Haven't gotten to tell you this yet either, but I absolutely LOVE your art. Your cannibal and strain injected humans in particular are just amazing, and in my opinion way better than the goblin looking thing that was gonna be the isle's cannibal. Your art really hits that spot that is familiar yet uncanny and makes it truly terrifying. You also take elements from nature and use that in parts of your art, which makes it just that much more real and seem like it could feasibly exist in real life. Keep doing what you do man, I can't wait to see more!

So don't take this the wrong way, but your progress pics depict such insignificant differences with one another that it's becoming tiring to see it unfinished. Even from my perspective as someone who understands the process and how tedious it can be especially while learning. I think you're posting your progress way too frequently and you should wait for a far more finished project before posting it going forward. For the skin to be semi-seethrough (To show veins and such), the scales would either have to be transparent or they wouldnt have scales at all

make it look somehow like a fetus. Physically weak and scrawny to compensate for having such powerful psychic abilities

and do not be hesistant to strip away at soft tissue

The tissos are undecided upon as of now when it comes to purpose, so I would leave those out

Yes I know, if you look at your veins (they show very well on the wrist), they're blue

It makes them stand out more and just look more "fleshy"

very gnarly (flaking skin, exaggerated teeth and osteoderms)

crocs already have osteoderms, so these could be expanded even more
