need help regarding the modeling of this tail here

the tail armour on the H spino is really just flat save for the pointy bits on the top and sides, where as the tail on my model actually has dips. im considering just flattening everything and add those lines in blender, but the new H.Rex concept has me thinking otherwise.

Idea and inspiration by @silent flax , made in paint 3D with mouse, kinda like the idea of a orca-ish skin for the animal but this is a fun step ahead(for comedy). It's based on the new The Isle Acrocanthrosaurus concept from #phase-two-archive and some Google image about Orcinus orcas which was made by associaciocetacea.org , quote "...At present there is only one killer whale species accepted, although 4 different main groups with different geographical distribution, can be distinguished. ..." I based this one on type A to be precise.

Originally Brece named it Acro/Orca I believe but this is also a different creature since it looks different aswell (referring to #401464048610312195 ). I enjoy the wordplay on this one. Have fun! (sry for wall of text)

OC's can be inspired by the Isle or Isle related like that one skin color combo you always play as. While inspired by the Isle could be, idk.. Its just my style really, its a new one I'm working on. Its to do with facial expressions. With the iris' positioned where they are it gives a kind of squinting/smirking look to the character

It’s a piece of work I sent in the channel not to long ago

Part of improving is taking criticism. Hell, I got banned from this discord for art theft two years ago. Only recently got back in. But despite the hate I got and the nasty dms for something I didn't realise was bad at the time, it didn't stop me from doing the art I do now. You don't get good at something without having set backs, or people who dislike your work. In fact I improve more when someone points out something is wrong, because then it helps me to improve it in the future. I understand that you might not like hearing it Spiral, but in the long run I promise it will improve your art.

If you're proud of the piece, be proud. Don't let someone's opinion dissuade you. Some of my favorite art hasn't been very well received in the past. It doesn't stop me from liking it, it just helps me to make better art in future. There's two ways of making art.

Making it for yourself.
Making it to please others.

And you have to evaluate which criticisms to filter out or listen to.

Sorry to rant but I get what you're going through, I used to be like that myself.
