Splitting the jaw doesn't allow for swallowing larger things. That's on the throat. And since Giga and Allo are closely related, it would make sense they look similar/have the strain to similar things to them

To me, much of what makes an Allo is its crest. Maybe accentuate those a bit more? And maybe make the upper jaw a little longer, rn it's got a wicked under-bite

It's mostly that h-giga has 3 Jaws full of razor teeth, and since giga in general is a bleeder, having all those extra teeth made for cutting makes it better at its role. Same goes for spino. It's a piscivore, so a rather weak bite, probably even for a hypo. Split jaw helps it swallow prey whole. A similar thing is applied to the other hypos with their features, but I mean they're cool to look at, so it really doesn't matter what fans do with their own hypos. All of them are awesome anyway

I agree, I think your Type-H allosaurus has a bit of an identity problem. Too many fan-strain designs borrow from the rex/giga/spino apex split-jaws. Hyper carno/raptor don't share this in their designs, which makes me think it's an apex-only trait -- I'd love to see a different take straying away from the apex dominant split-jaw. Type-H Carno has those big, beefy bull horns and meaty arms (albeit useless) and Type-H raptor has the double sickle claws (akin to a balaur bondoc), so perhaps give your Type-H allosaurus beefy arms and reinforced shins/feet that are actually useful for grappling and tackling prey.

The potato peel is more for larger things than it. Since it does have a considerably weaker bite than the other hypos it wouldn’t entirely relly on it and more on its arms to fight

@deep ore a few have pointed out that the hands are larger than they should be, i like to play with proportions at times when drawing the figure and they turned out larger in my initial sketches. i felt like it made it appear more powerful and therefore lethal. just a stylistic choice!
