so when you start, putting the circle there does nothing really instead try to aim for places where you see a circle fits like a small circle for the jaw and maybe a big one for the head as a whole. Here is some examples

also in the video the perspective is a bit off on the dino to the left so you gotta take that in consideration so the jaw is not bent and such

Having a forward motion in the body language would help. And a raptor would slightly turn it's head to the right or left so one eye could see behind it and keep the other facing the front. Having the legs mid motion helps tell the story that it's running.

Aww thank you! I’m still very new to drawing dinosaurs; I mostly draw birds and dragons lol. I first like to look at anatomy studies and references from all kinda of vertebrates at all kinds of angles, including dinos, to get a sense of general body shapes, then try to work muscle structure around that. Pencil drawings are hard for me because the sketch starts off realy messy and I gotta do lots of erasing when doing harder lines.

not sure how likely gular air sacs would have been to be present on an abelisaurids neck but i would like opinions on where i placed them relative to the cervical air sacs (pink circle on parrot diagram) present in modern birds. The air sacs on the antorbital fenestrae are inspired by hooded seals, i quite like the look of these but would also like opinions on colour, shape placement etc...

Hyper realistic AI drawing of Baryonyx or Suchomimus, don’t remember exactly. At first glance, it looked very beautiful and detailed, like a 3D model, but if look closely, could see obvious program errors: teeth in the opposite direction, flying claws, etc.

cause you can just type a few words and get such a beautiful image in two seconds that looks professional, minus the errors, but then you have real artists who take 10 hours to do something like that. real annoying how I waste my time drawing for that long just for someone to put a few letters into something and have an AI produce something so cool immediately

yep, most AI models have to use existing art pieces for its algorithm, and very often it's used without the original artist's consent

I wouldnt really call it hyper realistic or beautiful... That thing had 3 jaws mashed into one, there was 3 rows of teeth and the face was straight up squished, the arms were on the same side of the body and were really deformed, the legs were 2 different sizes and were severely deformed too. At first glance sure, it could've passed as a dinosaur but if someone had looked at it a little longer they would see all the flaws.. i really don't know how people think that stuff looks good, 99% of AI images are deformed all too hell and people that have never done any kind of art in their life, look at it and think "yep that looks amazing" like?? It just baffles me really.. ill never understand why people think AI images could ever pass as real art. Its awful, especially with how the AI creators train their AI with stolen art... its crazy :/

Lots of AI art looks much more believable. They pass as real art often, which is how people are selling them for real money claiming they did it... all the time.
It removes the effort and training artists put years of their lives into... and make it a 3 second generated image. It removes the need to spend hours on a work if you're going to be beat by a robot. It's sad. And yes, to think that's it's all from stolen art is even worse. F anyone who uses Ai art and claims it as their own, or sells it.

Yeah. All you artists better remember that no matter how "good" or how "well" the bot can replicate and create art, you are better because you got where you are with honesty. You have integrity that a robot does not. Your mind is better and more powerful, because all the bot knows is what it's been fed. You can come up with anything. No matter what skill level you are at, you are better than a bot who steals and rips off artwork, as long as you aren't doing the same thing. Keep yo chins up

I used to use ai art for references of characters I was too lazy to draw but I got some, terrifying products so I put that away LMAO

It was like, I can't put thoughts into image so I'll make a robot do it and I'll draw my own later

You can get or make a brush. Generally though, if you only use the scale brush, it might make the dinosaur look flat. So drawing in some of the scales, especially around the edges where they wrap around the creature, will still give the creature depth while saving your poor wrist muscles.

My suggestion (ik the work is done but...) would be to move the leg over so it looks like its not swinging the leg around but pulling the leg directly across. and it will look more like its correcting for the offcom.

I got to know my significant other through the game - back then when there the old v2 map and progression mode existed.
I was part of a big group of velociraptors, maybe like 10-15 people. Over time many starved, got eaten or logged out, until there was just two little velos left. We fled from the hungry jaws of some austros, rested on top of a mountain and started talking. Two years later, we actually met in person (quite hard when you live 1600 km apart and in two different countries) and got to be a couple shortly after that...
I would love to surprise him with a tiny little 3D-model for our 5 year anniversairy, but sadly am lacking the original velociraptor models that we have been when we've met for the first time...

Commissions came to me unexpectedly. I did not plan to sell and I was once asked if I could do something for money and immediately agreed.

So even if an artist paints only for themself, I am sure that with a high degree of probability, if they are asked to sell something, they will agree.

The only question is how confident they are in declaring that they are ready to draw for money.

Some tips I find really helpful is getting good colours down first before you begin rendering. And don't zoom in too much while you're blending colours together, not ever little detail is important. Just focus on the illusion there is detail?

You may not have been tracing (in case of cerato drawing though I suspect that trace did happen, and you basically took the head of a green one and a body of a grey one), but you're referencing pretty closely. Speaking of teno drawing, tha placing of markings is identical, and though the mouth is closed, the silhouette of the head and the lines are pretty much the same

Zremesher is The remesh fromzbrush. I like to sculpt in blender and Just do The retopo in brsuh. Its a GREAT time saver.
