Unfortunately no, not doing restarts also causes significant problems with the server and is guaranteed to make it crash eventually.

14 Minutes ago are the scheduled maintenance restarts. (10:00pm Central Time). My advice in an attempt to not get wiped, is don't play on offical servers potentially for 1 hour before wipe time and 1 hour after wipe time? I believe following this advice, I've been able to keep my dinosaurs

I worked as a gamer tester YEARS ago... it took us almost a year to fish out all the bugs in a map maybe 10% the size of Evrima.. if you love the game be patient, they're trying.

Not all 1 shot hacks require the hacker to physically attack their target. Like the time they had the launch hack that would send an entire section of the map into the air and kill half the server. Or the current one where they're invisible and seem to be able to kill from a distance.

Hackers are permanently banned from the server. Time outs are a discord feature where someone is temporarily unable to type. Sharing prohibited information such as names, skins, and locations ultimately makes the admins' jobs harder, not easier, which is why we prohibited them in the first place

I've never understood cheating in games. Like, I feel like its the gamer equivalent of someone who was bullied and then gets a power position and abuses it.

Idk if you saw my edit but the game I used to work for went through this exact problem to the point where the devs designed a bot, it can handle large volume and because its self designed (i.e. you would clone it and own it), you would not have to worry about a third party being able to access anything.

Its closed reporting as well, so a hacker cannot monitor this channel to see if someone has reported them, which is another problem we faced.

I also understand how awful being an admin can be, I have the DMs to show it, but a ticket system would also make people who report feel like they are actually listened to when they try to report someone and go a long way.

there is an issue with servers wiping, it seems to happen at every restart/crash... and could happen again at the next restart in 15 minutes. i recommend playing unofficials, playing something you won't feel bad losing, or wait until we hear more information from the devs.
