I know the coding is a mess and that it’s ~~by the looks of it~~ a complete nightmare to work with, but please fix recordings. For servers with rules this is a huge issue, I’m sure we can handle some glowing trees for a hot minute 🔥

I mean, they’re not working on our server as of now and they haven’t ever since the first update. Player names/IDs are all over the place if they’re displayed at all, if you skip through the time of the recording names/IDs disappear for a while and framing people have become way easier. If you have a fix I’d love to know, but in my experience they’re not working properly yet.

^ just for clarification it’s legacy, not evrima. Also recordings were working perfectly fine up until the newest update to fix the hacking problem. I’m just asking cause I personally believe fixing them should be a priority before trying to fix light/shading for the third(?) time😅

Yes @red ruin is correct. 1.1.62 patch replays are still not fixed. The only thing keeping Isle going is community servers, which heavily rely on replays to work. Pretty much putting a paper bag with a turd in it, and setting it on fire on someone's doorstep, by the devs.

@red ruin replying to your 12:50 something message. Legacy and Evrima are Work in Progress. Legacy was abandonned because they can't (officially) update it without getting bugs. Which is currently happening.
Private servers also, have nothing to do with the official game, which is ment to be played on official server standards, meaning, 100 players max, only survival dinosaurs, no non survival.
About the recording Dondi wanted to disable it, because it's useless.
And true. It serves no purpose except for cheaters.
And most issues we get are there because, once again, like Dondi said countless times past the years, Legacy cant be updated properly.
Reason why, they created Evrima. To overcome these issues. By recreating a new version, like the fourth if ly memory is correct...

@lofty vessel Theri is not official. It's a non survival dinosaur. Of course it's broken. Like Dondi said, he created dinosaurs with countermeasures, theri doesnt have any. Why? Because it's not ment to be played. Complain about dinosaurs u can find only on officizl servers. Not private servers

@royal olive it was mentioned above here that more or less the only thing keeping The Isle going is the community servers, and most of them rely on replays to work and be enjoyable for the entire community on said server. I understand the coding for Legacy is shit, and once you mess with one thing that thing messes with something else - bless them for even trying to fix a branch they abandoned, i think most of us appreciate that. That being said, if private servers have nothing to do with the game as you say, then they shouldn't even be an option imo. They never should've. But they are in fact a thing, and a lot of them have a great community with a lot of active players on which is why i personally think recordings should be/needs to be fixed. At least players on the server i admin don't really mind the lighting being a bit wacky as long as recordings work to help keep the server enjoyable for everyone. Which is why i mentioned it in the first place, cause there's not really much else i can do.

I'm not sure where to put this since i don't see a legacy bug report but I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing that the hatchling and juvie Maia are all glitchy and rubber banding since the most recent update as of now, i think the adult is fine but i did have some issues trying to escape predators, has anyone else played Maia recently?

I don't want to be rude but I will ask how much time will the legacy version be repaired? Overall, the game is playable, the biggest problem in my opinion is with the image lag, when anyone logs in or spawns on the test map, there is huge lag and the screen takes a long time to load, not to mention the graphics. And, the echo from the port sometimes reaches even to hidden.

Tbh i dont have any laggs at all, only if i go in spec but i have my settings all on low anyway, better for pvp. The hitboxes are terrible bad, worst then before, buut the main issue is the recordings. Private servers are pressured to make all in no rules cause u cant proof any rule breaks. It sucks so much.

@prime sage Dont use the steam browser, ingame should be fine after the new patch without any cloned servers - also you are under favorites.
The new steam works uses numbers as server names to help preventing cloned servers

There is one last thing to try. It will be a reinstall again, but like this:

In the same window you did the file verification, click "browse local files" to get to the game files.
After you uninstall The Isle, make sure that the folder "The Isle" is actually deleted in the "steamapps\common" folder
Search for 'command prompt' in Windows, and type this command:

move %localappdata%\TheIsle %localappdata%\TheIsle.old

Restart your computer, and after restarting start the re-install of Isle again

Was playing The Isle last night when it suddenly started stuttering. Have been having low fps problems and freezing since the update but this was the screen rapidly flashing from black to normal and then the game crashed on me. Went to restart it and the loading screen was stuttering as well. Deleted the files and reinstalled and the issue is still there? Not sure what to try now, Evrima is working perfectly for me though

So I'm trying to play the game, and not only do I not get my hosted server in the server list, when I click the Host button, it loads to a black screen and stays there (the menu audio continues to play in the background). I've verified the integrity of my game files, and done a DNS flush and winsock reset, is there something I'm missing?

Not sure what could be happening to your pc. If you've gone through punch's pinned message, and manually reinstalled legacy, and all that, you may be better off trying to find solutions online, or looking at your GPU for possible issues.

I love how everyone's "troubleshooting" and helping one another, it's a beautiful thing, unfortunately the truth is, if the game was working on your PC before the update and all of a sudden it's no longer working it really isnt an issue on the Users end and it isn't a issue with your PC. The issue lies with the developers.. all you should have to do to get any game working on steam is verify integrity of files.. steam has a built in system that will remove and replace existing corrupted files.. I don't know why the devs are pinning nonsense and manually deleting app data files that's utterly USELESS as appdata holds your existing settings not game files. The developers need to release another functional update that has a noticeable difference.... Best of luck everyone

alright so, every time I try to join any isle server at all, on legacy, the loading stops at a certain percent like 11% or 30% then crashes, so i have to tab out, open task manager and end it because its not responding. I have tried: verifying files, restarting steam, trying other servers, doing an sfc /scannow to fix corrupted files, restarted computer, signed in and out of steam, and I am currently trying to switch to EVRIMA branch to see if its the same issue there. if so, I'll try reinstalling. But if anyone has a fix I haven't tried, please ping me :)
I've never had this problem and it has been happening for about 3 days
EDIT: switched to evrima and i could join servers, so its a legacy issue. any help is appreciated

If you log out standing up and then log back in the rex's legs should fix. It has something to do with the IK when you first log in according to what I've heard about it.

I have an issue after the recent fixes that makes it so sometimes "H" button is unresponsive. This did not use to be an issue and is only an issue in the Isle. I have to press H several times to get it to respond. This results in mistypes while I play and chat in game. Causes me unable to stand up immediately as first I have to spam the stand button. Results in me finally standing just to sit back down because I had to spam it to get it "freed". I dont understand this bug at all. Again, this is ONLY happening in the isle. Every other game or function or random chat i have is perfectly fine. For whatever reason the isle has H broken.

So, I don't know if this matters, but I just launched the game from steam itself and I can see my servers. I'm not sure if it's because I launched it from steam or if it just happened to work this time BUT worth a try for anyone else having the same issue as me maybe?
I know I've had other games that were bugged unless I started them from the actual steam library so maybe

Yeah I was starting it from the shortcut in the folder on my desktop and that's never been an issue before

I just tested it out to be sure and when I open it from steam itself it works
So if anyone else normally opens it from a shortcut on their PC and has the same issue I'd recommend trying to hit the play button on the steam page and see if it works for you!

hmm from these recent updates or like when they released the patch for the make it harder hacking but anyways but is there a way to fix possible nonstop frame drop. i got some pretty bad frames or freezing eventhough im not loading people in or even just one person it just takes like about 5mins me for me to process is it because of my computer specs it used to not do it and i also have my driver fully updated,windows updated too

So the latest couple updates , sure they got rid of hacked Chinese servers and fixed the dryos . " But what did it cost ? "

1. Tress still having seizure moments and change their texture depending on your point of view .
***2.***The rendering in people/ Ai's makes the game just freeze , sometimes for a long period of time .
***3.***After said freeze/lag you are rolled back heavily . In some cases losing you a fight .
***4.***Some dinos have been messed up with the hitboxes which ware said to be fixed ,but it didn't shants still can hit behind them literally with head-bang .
***5.***Night time is buggy also , depending on your camera point you might see clear as day or you might just have a completely black screen .

Hi, I have a problem in the game. Since recently, every time I enter the normal game, pressing the H, ESC and INS keys does nothing. Because of this, I can't grow character or restore stamina. Does anyone know why this happens?
I have reset the keys, I have even changed them and nothing. However, the movement keys, Q and E do work.

Yes! The only way I can access some servers is by joining a friend atm. The server will appear as shown in the image (the one shown is Asura 5). Once played, the server will not be in my server listing or history. This happens with ALOT of servers for me~

Before the hypo problem got fixed I could play the game, now the game keep crashing and I can only play the new version that need mlore dinos in it to even be able to enjoy it at all.

I'm an admin on a server and I am unable to use the delete key to see names on said server while my fellow admins can. Is there anyway it could have been changed from the delete key to something else and if so how would I fix it.

Hello, aplogies for posting a bug issue here, as I see there's no bug report channel for legacy.

Recently we've encounted an issue with Dinosaurs not rendering in correctly, or randomly unrendering for users & staff in spectate.
While observing a situation at a highly populated area a giga had a partner next to him that our staff could not see, as it simply didn't exist on their screen, despite her being extremely close with name tags on. Once she got RIGHT onto the ground level the dinosaur appeared for her, despite everything else having rendered in the area for her. This was witnessed by myself via a discord stream at the time. Unfortunately we lack a recording on it.

This has happened to several users as well to our knowledge, where a dino will just suddenly vanish on their screen, despite it being within close proximity & render range for dinos of the same species, and will not reappear until in close proximity again, if the user gets close supposedly. But the replay will show the dinosaur hasn't move from the area at all, and is still in what should be normal render distance.

My friend has a problem with game, his keyboard is fine, works all good. But "H" "Esc" "enter" is not working on Legacy. No problems on evrima or any other games. Also "WASD" works without any problem. It is just few keys.

@honest river there are a solution often is to delete the "saved" folder in "C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\TheIsle", you risk to lost some data, like your preferences of skin, but I do not know if you would lose your dino in the servers. otherwise to avoid the worries you can save the folder "saved

Not sure if anyone can help me fix this... i wasnt able to bite though i could do everything else. Eventually decided to reset to default my keybinds.... now I can bite but cant do anything other than interact, bite, couch and sniff. Does anyone know how to fix an issue where the escape and tab button no longer work in game? If I click tab one too many times I can no longer move and I spend all my time typing stuff I can’t see. I’ve updated my drivers and reconfigured my game files, but that didn’t fix it.

Hi there. I have a quick question that I hope has an answer. I logged on Legacy last night and for some reason I couldn't press ESC to open the logout menu. I couldn't use Tab to open the player list. I couldn't go into spectate. I couldn't cycle through the chat channels. The only thing I could do was run around and use my calls. I went onto another server to see if it was the server I was playing on, but it did it on that server as well and I logged in while sitting, and it wouldn't let me stand back up. I've uninstalled the game and redownloaded it multiple times, and it still doesn't work. Is this a glitch? Did I press something that I wasn't supposed to? Feedback would be appreciated, though I know you guys are busy. Thank you!

My game keeps crashing mid-game whenever i join v3 maps, I've already tried some stuff about fixing crash in the pins yet it still happens and i've set all of my graphics to low

What does foliage and effects graphic settings exactly do? Neither of them seem to enable foliage displacement for me. It's all just static except for tall bush twigs that are the only thing that reacts to dinos

We have some admins on our server with the same issue. It worked all find and all of a sudden it didnt worked anymore. They deinstalled game and it worked again

i ended up having the same issue and reset my keybinds only to break it. instead of reinstalling the game you can also look at pins and follow that method

basically you delete a folder and it resets your bindings and it all works again including player plates

I cant do anything besides call or look around, cant open global or press esc to safe log or stand up. I've tried joining different servers but the same thing happens. the only way i can get out of the game is if i alt f4 out.

same issue that Gabe_ has, standing up/sitting down not possible as well as turning on nightvision or using the ESC/Insert menu. Uninstalled and did a clean install of the game and still ain't working.

Can confirm however that deleting the saved forlder as stated in the pins does help

This is a problem that did not exist before the last patch was implemented.

I've always had lag issues mainly due to having a lower end gaming pc, but since the update now my entire game freezes for like, solid 10-15 seconds (has been upwards of a whole-ass minute if it's a herd or group of apexes) if I load in a dinosaur who has entered my area.
I lost an Allo, and my friend lost a fully grown rex because of this lag issue. We always had it to a degree, but now it's insanely worse.

Plz, I know legacy isn't the main goal anymore but a solid chunk of the player base (if not the majority) still play legacy, and me and my friend can't be the only ones who have these problems.

I have been having issues with finding certain servers and my server browser is just filled with a few random ones and then like 50 chinese servers, half of them have 188/200 players.

most games have a directory with the core game files as well as an appdata directory with additional data like ini files and config files

@white lichen search for them by typing in "official ". Unmark "Official" Button first.

Servers aren't connected to Official Button any more. If you had a dino on EU1 it has probably been wiped for anticheat update.

Official Servers are all dead anyway.

this was probably answered so apologies for asking a probably already answered question but i'm tired of fighting with this and honestly hopeless i'll be able to play the isle again.
so when ervima was updated and added the hypsi's i couldnt cancel out of the spit because r is my designated sit button. (always has been since i got the game because h is too far away from the movement controls for me.)
but i recently tried to redesignate another control, the quick option to open your character sheet from insert to another button, but somehow it completely and utterly broke my game.

I can't use the interaction button to eat or drink, i cant sit, i cant bite, i cant sprint, i cant sniff.
i can only move the dino, move the camera and use the 1 and 2 call.
I can't even see chat and if i try to use it, i cant see what im typing and forced to be stuck in chat unless i force close the game.
i cant open tab or the escape menu to log either
I've tried reseting the controls ingame (the reset button doesnt work), i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, i've tried deleting the save files and opening the game so it could reinstall the game files (didn't work, had to uninstall and reinstall to get the files back)

i'm not tech savvy in the slightest and very confused and fustrated of what to do.
i dont even know if its effected the ervima build as well but im 90% sure it has. which means the game is completely unplayable for me anymore. i'd really really really appreciate some help

well you see i'd love to but knowing that legacy is completely broken for me isn't a very happy feeling.
I love evrima but currently it is not at the playability that i'd like for me.
i was mid playing with a friend, on call, growing dino's in survival when everything broke. We can't play together on evrima because all carnivors we come across kill on sight no matter if they are hungry and no matter if we are carni's or herbies.
its near impossible to find eachother as well because the only "landmark" is the massive stone hendge and the navigation map we usually use to find eachother is unusable for the new map. so it takes the fun out of playing with others.

not to mention im pretty sure my ervima is broken as well

I have no idea what's going on with legacy but when I log into any server only my movement keys work I have tried deleting the save file I have tried using my HUD removal key but it won't work hurry can I can't even log out of a server I have to crash the game or just wait to starve and from when I'm seeing a lot of other people are having this issue this is making the game unplayable for me I might get a refund I only have 34 hours of play time I don't want to play Ervin I want to play legacy with my friend but I can't do that can anyone message me or help me out with this because it's genuinely making me upset

please please please for the love of god fix the lag/teleporting that yall created with ur "fixes". the game is unplayable. hunting/defending is impossible. its just a lottery to see who gets the better teleports mid fight. everyone all the time is teleporting everywhere. and before all u whine that its my pc, its not. and i play with a group of several hundred people and everyone has the issue. this is the worst issue in the game. please fix it. the graphical errors are nothing compared to breaking playability.

The light is glitching for me all the time, when i look down its all of the sudden completly dark and when i look up the lights are spazzing out, its freaking annoying... The Laggs are worse then before and the graphic looks like low, when its on Epic...

Can ANY dev please explain why I would not be able to host a private server (I can host one if I'm not logged into Steam and start the game with the shortcut in my steam folder, but now it no longer recognizes me as an administrator after all the Legacy patches)

I have TRIED reinstalling the game, verifying saved files, deleting Saved folder, doing all the basic fixes and NOTHING has fixed it. This has been an issue since April and I've asked multiple times for a fix, no one has gotten back to me about it yet

when switching from evrima to legasy it bugs the game so that I cant sit with H, i cant eat or attack neither can I press esc or enter the chat.

I really wish they would roll back legacy to before the first of these "updates" 😳 trying to handle an attack involving more that 2-3 dinos is now pretty much complete luck...it all depends on where you end up with the teleworking and/or where you are after the screen unfreezes! Please please PLEASE either fix it or roll us back.

Yo! So I have a sort of unique issue? I logged into the game today to find that my nesting was "disabled" a lot like evrima and I was unable to press attack, insert or escape with the exceptions of the movement keys, crouching and calls. I tried restarting, uninstalling and even resetting the settings but to no avail nothing has changed. Anyone been through something similar?

I've also been unable to safelog and had to use task manager, I'm not sure if that effects anything

I think most of us know the isle legacy is broken code by now, which could be an argument of not fixing current teleporting issues. False, revert the update. Bring back the "hackers" having fun with their hypos for 20 mins till they get bored of it and let the rest of the community enjoy the game as how it was. Not even 1 person of the community has problems with the hypos at the end of the day. But thats just an opinion of your consumer am i right.

Hackers in general are still a thing, the double servers was annoying but once you found the right server you could at least play the game and fight other dinos without praying that it doesnt just TP behind you 😂

not to mention now we can't even use replays to find IDs and players that could be hacking, gotta need admins online which also isnt possible 24 hours a day since theyre humans too

I finally fixed it. Finally lol.

So i was looking in the wrong area for the saved folder.

At first i was going to the isle from the Programs Files x86 route and couldn't find the saved folder where i originally deleted it from.

Instead i went Local Disc --> Users --> (your name) --> AppData --> Local --> The Isle --> Saved

Then i just deleted the Config folder only and reloaded the game, and it worked like a charm!

I can't do that now though, as I did the duplicate trick to play legacy and evrima without having to switch.

And ever since, I have been clicking out of legacy mid-hunt and losing my dinos due to my cursor drifting outside my windowed game. Why not play full screen then? Because my laptop cant handle full screen, I get motion sick, and before I had both versions, i could play legacy windowed.

Ive tried CursorLock with windows interior checked, but it won't affect the game. Just its own program.

If anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE let me know! I tried messing with this for hours last night.

Messaging for a friend since she cannot type in this discord ^^

It’s an issue with searching for a certain server, others pop up, but not this specific one. She says she was able to get into/see the server previously.

She’s tried deleting the Saved folder, doing the CMD thing to change the pings, checking the boxes in firewall, re verifying the game files, and re-downloading the game. Anyone have any other ideas of what to try? TI_Wheeze

@Devs you have a game here that you wanted to re-code which is completely fine and exciting to all of us but the legacy version (which 90% of the active isle playerbase still play btw) is just fucked.
We all PAYED for this game and now you guys made the game even worse? There is still hackers in the game and tbf now we can't even prove it if we see them! Why? Oh yes replays are destroyed too!!
It's not like you have to fix it all up since we all get that the code is completely weird as well but at least revoke the update! Idc if allos animations look good or wether we can play dryo or not but at least make the game playable again. Everything is TPing all over the place, people can't log in or can't move. Just look into this channel? Hundreds of thousands of copies of this game were sold, at least answer to some of the questions or problems the consumers have?

I don't know if you've already been told to stop answering in this chat by the devs since they don't feel like fixing this anyway, but if you are still reading, legacy is BROKEN to the point where it's becoming unplayable. Maybe the devs are scared that no one will play evrima if legacy is still decent but theyre so dead wrong. We're all excited about evrima it's just boring for now since there isn't nesting and the map is just trees which is fine but it just doesnt have much content.
I bet multiple people would rather actually tell steam the devs are scamming the community with this and get their money back tho. Maybe they should fix legacy and keep the playerbase they have..?

They don't even have to fix the code since that's impossible but just take the last update back it can't be that hard?
Look into this chat for goshs sake, people can't move or bite, some can't even log in and those who can, can't enjoy the game because it's just scuffed asf.

I cannot fix legacy as a whole. If there's a troubleshooting Issue I can personally deal with then fine. But when I ask what seems to be the issue and am instead met with 'there's so many issues' I cannot help.

The developers are actively supporting and updating this early access game however they are doing christmas stuff just like the rest of us as of late. If you have feedback on the current state of the game, bring it to #general-feedback and I'm sure a lot of people will agree with you. And that will be seen. Troubleshooting is watched yes. But not 100% effective in letting the developers know what you think of the current state of legacy.
I look in this chat for issues that have to do with personal settings and steam and ect. In game issues where Legacy is broken I cannot help with.

It's like that for everyone. It happens if you look a certain way in game. It started happening in the recent patch they did in Legacy. Don't think they'll fix it sadly.

I fixed mine by moving the game to another drive, could also be your SATA cable, check if other games behave weird when they are installed on the same drive.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder."

I literally turned my computer off last night, the game was totally fine and turned my computer on, opened Steam today and it was just.. re-installing.

It's 'possible' that either the game got corrupted and steam decided to reinstall to fix it or Steam itself just glitched out. If it does it just this once I wouldn't worry about it. Especially if it just overwrote the original files. If it happens again or with any other games then I would contact Steam support.

I just redownloaded legacy for the first time in a while to be nostalgic, and can I just say -- oof to the absolute atrocious FPS drop, and the IK legs are glitching all over the place. 😭 Evrima runs better than Legacy does rn, and Legacy use to run almost perfectly for me even on high-pop servers.

I'm setting all my graphics down to Low except textures, but if anyone else could make suggestions on how to combat the lag... would be appreciated.

If you haven't checked in pins, this might help!!

"For users encountering a crash on Legacy, try this;

Right click The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > browse local files.

It should open up your Isle folder.

At the very top of the file path click "common"

It takes you back to a folder list of all your Steam games.

Keep that open, we'll go back to that in a moment. Now right click The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > uninstall game. After it's uninstalled you'll need to go back to that list of game folders and delete "The Isle" folder. That way there is no trace of The Isle, so when you reinstall the game it doesn't re-use any corrupted content that would normally remain after a normal uninstall."

If you guys are having any technical issues with legacy I strongly suggest checking the pins or even some of the Evrima document for similar issues.

Any corrupted data issues or crashing issues is most likely addressed there.

hackers like to use the old version of legacy bc hypos arent patched out. updating your game or reinstalling should allow you to no longer see the server

Hello, I have an issue, since the update it has become very laggy the game, I know some fixes were done after the update but I still have some issue I didn't have before, maybe someone can help me?

My issues are long lag spikes when there's a lot of players that are coming into my loading view(this is not much of a problem) and with the velociraptor ai when it spawns my whole game freezes for like a whole minute. This didn't happened before the the update, but now it does. This doesn't happen to me when I play Evrima.

Is there a way that can be fixed or something I can do to make it better?

This are my current settings since the update, before the update I could run a higher quality but since the update I have to lower a lot of settings to be able to play Legacy. So far its all good except but when the Velo AI spawns and freezes my whole game for a whole minute.

Trikes can't do dmg, while their head is turned left or right, they do damage only on front of them. That's not normal

The para headbutt is really messed up. The kick is too, but to a lesser extent. I can't hit anything. A friend and I even tested it out on a DV Test Level. Any idea what's up? Any <@&505047238674874368> have any ideas?

For users encountering a crash on Legacy, try this;

Right click The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > browse local files.

It should open up your Isle folder.

At the very top of the file path click "common"

It takes you back to a folder list of all your Steam games.

Keep that open, we'll go back to that in a moment. Now right click The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > uninstall game. After it's uninstalled you'll need to go back to that list of game folders and delete "The Isle" folder. That way there is no trace of The Isle, so when you reinstall the game it doesn't re-use any corrupted content that would normally remain after a normal uninstall.

Hey I've been having problems with the shadows in the Isle V3 map, at certain angles it turns into this instead of the normal shadows. All settings are set to Epic btw and haven't had this problem before. @ me if you know a way to resolve this, thank you!

you're stuck on the old version of the isle, im guessing your game didnt update because you have both evrima and legacy installed at the same time and you have evrima as the steam-listed version. All you have to do is just change the name of the directory with evrima to "The Isle Evrima" (or anything other than "The Isle") and then change the old isle directory name to "The Isle" so steam recognizes it, then verify files and wait for it to install the update files (it may reinstall the game)

if this is not the case and you only have the legacy version installed, then simply reinstall the game or force updates

You cant fix it.
It's a bug with legacy that was broken since it's recent update
Devs have not been bothered to fix as legacy is a lost cause

Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

Once you turn off the game

hey ive been working through it with an admin on the server i play on - but in case it doesnt work i wanted another opinion, i was playing evrima earlier and then swapped back to legacy, and my legacy was broken, i could do pretty much everything except attack, chat, lay down or press escape. i tried reinstalling the normal way, rebinding, getting teleported away, nothing worked. currently the admin suggested i redownload evrima and then uninstall that, then reinstall the game clean, because she figured if i uninstalled it on evrimas side it would pull all the files. Any ideas?

Even if they read it they won't do anything about it, last time they did something they made it even worse. Now they are doing Evrima instead and abandoned completely any support for legacy.

well it appears changing to fullscreen fixes it, but if i try to go back to windowed or windowed fullscreen all the settings get locked again and the resolution goes to shit

Not sure if this counts as troubleshooting but my prep recently got the game, he’s been able to see and be around other players, AI Ect but once we form a group and he gets anywhere near us his game crash’s anyone know any idea to fix this?
