this is practically the confirmed sentiment with Legacy, though back when the game was a lot smaller

something very unique with legacy, though, was that basically everything in-game had some sort of reason, almost, to exist in-lore
and vice versa

The thing about ubiquitous scattered skeletons being used in environmental storytelling is that on a tropical island with many animals and microbes those skeletons would not remain in place. If a rex or cerato killed you there might not be any bones at all - I could see a cerato scattering and cracking bones for the marrow, and rex undoubtedly swallowed some things in chunks or even entirely whole.

So yeah, we won't see Fallout style skeletons because in Fallout those people died to heat or radiation, but in The Isle people probably had more grisly deaths

Carnivores are very messy, and often take some or all of a carcass to a creche for safe eating. Best I could see for human remains in some buildings are scattered bones

Alright, so the bodies makes me think there was some sort of incident that happened quickly, and that the water access dam area may have been an evacuation point

Donny did actually say that LAB IIX was going to be referred to as a necropsy area as well.
But even then, there’s still a fair amount of bodies, and it’s also in an area that doesn’t really feel very necrotic, you know what I mean?
Though, I’ve never been in any sort of necropsy area with cadavers.
Whats also interesting is that it is all human bodies, which is really weird.

That makes me think ... some people have said something about EIPs maybe (as a theory), like the leftover bodies of EIPs, but maybe they’d be more in TOMB and not in Lab IX?
