From what I see here and the fact the omni raptor wasn’t real
I can make an educated guess and say that the island is home to a group of genetically modified prehistoric animals
Throughout the map you can find modern herbivores yet no extinct ones
This can either mean there was an attempt to bring these animals back to life and conduct scientific experiments on them
Or it was a failed theme park type deal where the dinosaurs had escaped, you can see throughout the map that there are other types of animals and they are always around, which could mean that someone is putting them there or they are breeding naturally, but it’s rather easy to hunt and using my knowledge from by ecology class I can tell that within a few weeks they would be extinct on the island so it MUST mean someone is putting them there, especially with a port on the map, this not only shows it wasn’t a failed theme park like the movies, but it shows that it can very well be a scientific experiment to find the hunting strategies or the lifestyle of these prehistoric creatures
Furthermore only a select few of these can be played as meaning only these are being currently observed, this means that over time I will call ‘the researchers’ introduce new dinosaurs and animals to the island in order to see how it effects the food chain or how dominant it really was and seen (not sure about this bit) that dinosaurs used to be in the game but are no longer in the evrima (which is current right) that they are not only adding dinos to the island but also taking them out of the island in order to research
I’m sure in future updates humans will be added because there is a human tab, so it would be plausible to see if these prehistoric animals are suitable to be in the same area as a human or the same living space. That also may be the reason they is temperate condition animals such as: deer, boar, chicken, rabbit, sheep, goats, around the island. you wouldnt find those creatures in a (ran out of space) p1
