This is what i think the isle lore is
Apollo Engineering tried making Jurassic Park and it failed and us the player plays as a dinosaur a few months or a few years after Apollo failed in making Jurassic Park and the reason there is humans is either Apollo Employees getting supplies left on the island, Apollo Employees that where left behind on the island and illegal poachers trying to sell live dinosaurs etc. Also the cannibals and hypos etc where failed creatures Apollo made cuz they where trying to make there own dinosaurs.

hypsi is far too slow, it's 100% between ptera and galli.
having played a lot of both ptera and galli, i think galli is the way to go.

yes ptera gives you the overhead view which can be very helpful, but now that galli has a trot that rivels diablos run speed, it can travel the map faster than even ptera.
not to mention the stam costs for constantly having to land to check out the insides of human structures as ptera.

if you have enough people, you could do both.

I’m very curious about how gen 1’s sacrificing works, I’d assume there’s a designated area, but if the replicator sees everything, it could be a few visible areas

What if the replicator is programmed to reward survival, and it thinks killing other things aids your survival, and gen 1 caught on to this and now ises it to their advantage, trying to kill as many things in front of the replicator?
