Even on that leaked map of Gateway that was found ages ago, there was a distinct lack of structures.

I always kinda assumed that Gateway was going to be like the hub for all AE activities, but the amount of structures, lack of major labs, lack of lodging etc. Is kinda weird.

Begs the question of how important is Gateway actually?

Honestly, if you want to look deep into the track, it could be interpreted as the final moments of some poor AE personnel trapped on the island after whatever happened, happened. SOS can be interpreted as a literal distress call, or as the genuine pleas to a God to forgive and save them, since AE is notorious for their "God Complex" mindset

It's more than likely this is referencing whatever lead these structures to be abandoned in the first place, although the use of SOS can go many ways given AE's work and history, which I find cool. It could also be that morse code sounds cool, but I like the idea that Dondi had the song include it as an AE member literally trying to both seek help from headquarters, as well as forgiveness from God for the horrors that are about to kill him

The fact it repeats makes me think that whatever cry there was fell on deaf ears, which is equally haunting

The constant reuse of SOS makes me believe that this was someone's last desperate moments, and no one ever heard their cries

Yeah I couldn't remember if there were going to be like ghost trains that just went around the island with no humans around operating them. But you could jump on to escape as a juvie or smaller dino. Or a big one so you didn't use stam or time getting from one side of the map to the other

But just tracks definitely makes more sense from a development standpoint and not have to worry about having to code vehicles

well it's pointless to talk balance without having an idea with how it looks like. I imagine it will depend on effective range, ttk, how long it takes to get guns and ammo, and how popular they are to play, and what guns they're gonna get.

And often won't go down until after they've already mauled you to death. And even omni is comparable to all but the largest bears
