my guess for quetz drone is a mixture of surveillance and use as a kind of scarecrow

fly a big quetz decoy around the perimeter of your facility and it may drive off other pterosaurs and small critters

feel like surveillance alone wouldnt make a lot of sense just because itd be way easier to put cameras on a more practical drone, if you want inconspicuousness then use a bird drone or something, but you can also just have a high altitude drone thats hardly noticeable anyway

I think these small things are really healthy for a community that is THIS involved. In these in-between periods small little snips that are purely lore based can help distract the community from picking apart every little thing that is said.

In terms of pc lore I did have a soft spot for the atriums and such, was cool to be able to make that connection

But I’m also kinda glad primal isn’t canon anymore since having primal carnage and the isle be in the same universe is like having the stories of modern warfare and tf2 in the same universe
