We already knew it would probably not be a popular choice, which is why we wrote that message. We know how used you are to old Discord standards. Heck, even I do not fully like the new media channel right now. However, fear of change is only human. We need to give it a try over a period of time to see if we are able to adapt and get used to it before making a final decision. Forum channels are the modern solution and they solve the issue of comments in-between images. Whether it is worth compromising something that otherwise worked fine and we are used to, is another conversation, but we cannot know before actually trying first. We remember how you people were screaming when we implemented the touch indicator in-game. It did not take long before you got used to it. That is maybe not the case here, but time will tell. We at least hope you understand this point.
