its been like this for so long ( every other player facing it )
the only kinda get matched in solo is Erangel map and some other map ( but some other map might take endless time waiting for nothing )

Please ask your friend to repair the game one time through the login menu of the game and make sure to select all the available repair options, @fluid pier. This might delete all the resources, and he will need to download them again. After that, reset the device network settings through Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Restart the device and see if it will make any difference.

I have Snapdragon 865 and 120hz screen, back in 1.6 version I was able to unlock it through an app called 90 FPS from playstore.
The 90 FPS option was then available in game. And it worked. I just think it's weird the game itself doesn't provide the option..

It has something to do with your Internet connection that it is unable to connect to the game server. Please try to change your DNS settings, you may refer to subpoint 4.3 in #faq for further information in this regard. And if it does not help, you may need to contact your Internet service provider or switch to a different Internet connection.

You should be able to unlink it on your own, regardless the state of your social media account. Keep in mind that in order to unlink it, you must have a second social media account linked and logged in.
