Doesn’t mean it’s the new map. Nothing has been confirmed. In fact even though I’m making guesses and cases based off how the screenshot looks (because it’s all we really have to go on) I’m inclined to believe this might now be the map.

For instance. If they did a screenshot of those docks and boats on a current map - the assumption would be they will be on that map for dlc. So the best way to show the docks and boats without confirmation of anything is to put them on maybe…a dev map? I would assume they have one to test new features.

Both Layton and hirsch look like the screenshot in some way so it could def be a dev map. They would have created it with the same assets as those maps.

Reasons why the image may refer to Canada:

1. Canada is one of the most important waterfowl migration destinations on the continent, especially Saskatchewan and Manitoba, since the Waterfowl Rework is confirmed to be a more than convenient destination.
2. The submerged vegetation on one side of the Dock is also similar to that of a wetland, also the wooden platform that is at the beginning of the dock, we see the same in the wet areas of the Layton River and in the Center of Yukon, also in Mississippi.
3. The trees coincide with that of Canada, in fact the trees/tones are more similar to the Yukon and Layton than to the yellow and reddish tones of Hirsch...

These are just a few reasons, I assume there is a 50% chance that let it be Canada xD

crazy theory 1:
Those brown formations on the shoreline of the clue image look like rocks, similar to the ones on the shores of Winnipeg lake/river..
In Layton there is an area called Winnipeg, can it be possible that there is a in-game clue there?
(this theory only works if the image is Manitoba Canada xD)
