I think there was only one case of an actual man eating cougar, I think it was in California, and it was the same one that infamously ripped off the face of a Biker on a hiking trail because she wasn’t his first victim a man earlier was killed and eaten by the same cougar. It’s not really sure what caused the cougar to do this, but some people think it was diseased, but as far as I know, that is the only ever case.
