I feel most animals in the game just are there without any purpose, most people don't even tax female rares, it was implemented when parque was added but the system was flawed, the devs thought it was worth it then, it could be brought back again. And it shouldn't mess with grinding since there are no Female GOs added to the game to this date

They respawn and refill the herd, it would be impossible to grind if what you say was true, the hunter kills all the male reds in a herd every run and then the next run they are there again respawned differently, the only reason that wouldn't happen it's if hunting pressure gets to high then the zone gets moved
