To be fair, you can't say it had 2 lakes where they don't show up. How could you know what others' maps have on them? I have lakes where I've never seen certain species, but streamers have them there all the time.

If you go though multiplayer and check enough maps and ask people you can pretty clearly find out what does and doesn't where, i personally have yaks drinking at the big lake in top center slightly to the right and ive not heard anyone say or seen anything drink at that long lake north of the caves of whoever made the map was inaccurate

simple way is go to one of the ends of the river. at 6am..wait 5 mins on a atv. then blast across the whole of the bottom of the river

you will scare probably any tigers you come across but you will probably find any zones which you can revisit

you normally can get one either end and some in the middle either on the bottom or above

in the real world there is an industry built around bringing Americans to Canada to hunt because there are more bigger animals and more wilderness, but in the game we have 6 American reserves and 0 Canadian reserves. I would love to see any kind of Canadian map, arctic especially.

people are working on that, but it's a complicated issue. It could happen in Alberta too, they don't have nearly as many bears but there are pockets where the density is as high as BC

I would love if conservation succeeded so well that hunting grizz was back on the table. some other activists don't bother with that part and want grizzly bear shooting at any cost. I'd miss 'em if they went the way of the wooly mammoth or the sabertooth cat.

The developers' view of North American hunting culture is so different than mine. New England is supposed to be the map that offers a modern American experience on a quality level similar to newer maps like Revontuli and Emerald Coast, but it's on the east side of the continent and everyone is obsessed with the giant game on the western half. No mountain lion, no sheep, no elk, the moose in reality are a different smaller subspecies, etc.

yes, it happens all the time with them. It sometimes takes me 3+ in-game days to find a single tiger whose vicinity I know. Some of these techniques work for me occasionally: 1-minute trick, sleeping to the next day, quit and reload, moving my tents and revisiting the area.

So it turns out that it is possible to move a second tiger male (purple dots) into the 3-lake triangle system (more likely if vacated). Purple arrows show the consecutive spawns of the second male starting from the bottom south eastern lake.

Nope. I've never had any females in the triangle.
But the following is possible:
The navy dots are the spawn locations of the first male that regularly bounced out and which I've left out for now.
Purple dot is the second male.
Now, thinking about it, the cyan dot (in the top left of the triangle) could be the original spawn location of the second male (purple).
My triangle have always had two males.
Not sure if anyone else has had this.

No, I hadn't shot it yet. I know it's fur from its tracking. The Autosave went into a lock and the icon just persisted. I waited about 30 minutes but the reverted to an earlier save. I lost about 10 harvests (that I don't care about. Hqappens at least once a day since installing Nepal.

I've only encountered them most North side. And they do growl at you but as far as I've experienced, it's a warnign growl. They're very skittish

I had males at the 3 lakes now its 1 female and rarely at that

all the time. I use a bunch of different techniques to resolve that. I sleep a lot, I fast travel from place to place a lot, I move my tents in case they are blocking the tigers
