The first time I shot one midair, saw it falling in the distance. There was a blood trail but it ended in a croc resting zone. My dog stood there, barking like crazy like if the corpse was there, but there was nothin so I like to think a croc ate my goose xD
The second time, shot another on midair, it did not die this time and then, the entire flock transformed into those flocks that you can't spot, you know? They just kept flying through the mountains and vanished.
Lost 2 lv5 already...

Idk if this is a bug or what, but sometimes they just never appear again, only a group of 3 females, everytime. I have to exit to main menu and come back so a new flock spawns. After this one goes away, the same 3 females appears and nothing more.

There is one way to get around that. Being hunting the animals for population control, or for safty. In some parts of the world animals kill people such as indias tiger. The game could use it as a means to hunt. As well as other creatures that could possibly be hunted in. COTW could simply hire us as an exterminator.

There are some hunters in Africa that will kill specific animal species due to them being problematic. Actually some of these consist of giraffes, as some males will kill others due to territorial reasons.
