Does a shot hen pheasant have the potential to go off and create a new zone while still leaving the other zone in tact? I asked because over 4 grinds, I've now accidentally shot 4 hen and they've never respawned into any of my 18 flocks on the map. The zones I've shot hen from now just reduced by 1 in total size and I still get Roosters but it does feel like I'm missing some. My fear is that a new zone is created off of those shot hens and that's where my few missing males could be...

Yea, only really creates an issue if they are shot extremely frequently like every few runs because somehow females take longer to respawn than males occasionally and if they are in the respawn pool same time as some males, odds are they may make a new zone

But if its over a period of time like in your case i highly doubt it, if anything they just swap with males, or they become solos

After shooting these hens, I'm down about 3-4 roosters in my normal rotation on my 9 flocks I rotate on while my other 9 are locked out with 2 lvl 1 males in each. I rechecked all 18 zones and no additional hens joined there. So, I'm missing 4 hens and I'm now also short about 3-4 males. Would average about 14 kills per rotation and this has now dropped to about 10 with most of the zones I rotate on now only have 1 male vs it's normal 2

About 2500 kills into current grind and this is G1 #16 overall I'm working on. Pheasnt #4. Never had a grind over 1800 previous this one. This guy is being a pain! Ha

Everytime I grind I pray all my deer are there

It's actually consistent, they just spawn and take awhile to get to their zones. Change time a few minutes in the future and they will be there

generally just clear hunting pressure allow time for animals to get to their zones. not all come back after one day fast forwarding time or on time to zones..many factors

some animals have to go further than others so they turn up late
