The thing is sometimes you have level 3’s that should be level 2. The score is the same and they have the same effect. It’s just that the game decides that is a level 3

You have to learn to go by rack more than by level

For me, the moturangi inlet area has so many fallow males that once I get all other areas managed, I can just hunt that area forever lol.

My tips would be try to manage the single males first and make as many of them small. Then you can find zones that you’ll like to hunt. Single males SUCK for fallow because they move all the time

I wouldn’t have hated the tahr as the GO but there’s two main problems. Their fur on console looks like the lion mane and it looks awful. And they did a horrible job of making them fun to hunt, in fact, tahr are probably the least fun animal to hunt in the game at this point.

They’re a pain to hunt, they are by far the smallest of the class 2s and the weakest meaning any caliber can kill them YET they require vital organs to pass the harvest check and even with things like the 243 it can often miss vital organs even with well placed shots

As someone who doesn’t grind, I like that they are hard. Not because I like people to suffer but it makes it when someone gets it’s… a lot more accomplished. I think the problem is you have people who can dedicate even 15 hours a week vs someone like myself, who in one month will have 5 hours to play and sometimes 40 hours a month. Like since I’ve I reset sometime in early 23 I’ve keep count of all the black bears I’ve killer! 400 exactly for over a year now. The GO bear doesn’t feel like a mathematical eventuality for me. Unlike for grinders.
This is the first GO were it doesn’t feel that way, simply because people are refusing to grind or at least going to do it causally!

This is not hating on anyone just my opinion from my perspective as someone who got this game in 2018 & has been my go to game since Cuatro came out.

I don't see this grind as any different to be honest. You go to the lakes and shoot the animals. Even IF they break up that 3 lake zone, people will just put tents on the next smallest home range lakes

It’s is very weird and or cheap to do, but like for me, I can only play 1:30-2 hrs of play time a day. If I were to grind tigers normally, I would not be able to get much of anything because you have to check like every lake and run the river to do it naturally
